I would like to see the team first before committing to purchasing tickets. But good deal is the team is right

Same.

If the team is as I predict than they would have to pay me to watch it let alone go to the game

They're probably hedging their bets that people won't want to watch NSW get hammered a sixth consecutive series.

Why dont they move this game to SFS and fill the bloody thing… The demand will be higher, and they can ask a higher price?

Aren't the prices high enough as it stands?…

$120 to $150 a seat to be at the games greatest contest isnt too much…

I dont really care what the prices are... Up here, the games are sold out in 15minutes, so if the prices were higher, I suppose I'd be a greater chance of getting a ticket?!

I always go with XXXX anyway… They provide a Return Bus with Eskies, Food & Drinkies at the Brewery and then the Game... Long drive back up the coast though... Pit Stop!!!

Because we get more than 45,000 people to the game. Tickets are expensive enough as it is.

My god what a joke seriously I am a passionate NSW supporter now living in QLD and was lucky enough to get tickets to game 1 which sold out in a few hours and game 3 is nearly sold out. Where is the passion from the Blues supporters!!!!!! 2 for 1 offers r u kidding!!!! Get out and support our boys. Say what u will about QLD but their passion for SOO far outweighs that of the majority of NSW supporters. Losing 5 in a row should only make us that more passionate to see our team finally knock these cocky Queenslanders off there perch. Sorry for the rant just a passionate NSW guy that is amazed the biggest state in Australia cannot sell out an 80000 seat stadium for the biggest game in Rugby League!!!!

The price in QLD is ridiculous - anyone thinking of taking their family would have rocks in their head or be very well-off. I paid $95 to be sitting basically at the back of the stadium. They may sell out in 15 minutes but that's probably mainly because all the Broncos season ticket holders have tickets already.

It is however disappointing to see that NSW supporters won't go to the game. Mind you bar the SCG it is probably the worst stadium I have ever watched a game at - Suncorp c*aps all over it.

Mikey you say Bronco Season Ticket Holders already have seats… How does that work???

Your point about taking the Family is an interesting one... This is the pinnacle of the game and I dont think having Kids/Family/Conessions pricing is smart at all... Each seat should be the same price, dependant of your Bay... Why allow a kid to take up a seat which is valued at $150.00 for only $75.00... Doesnt make sence?!

Hi Watto

Broncons platinum season holders can buy packages that include state of origin tickets. At $505 - $735 for season tickets, which inlcude the stuff below, it's great value if you want to follow such a team (wipes vomit from mouth).

I even thought about doing it and selling on the season tickets just to remove the hasle of having to stress out about getting tickets every year. Also, don't forget their are Suncorp members packages available which provide tickets to soccer, rugby and rugby league starting at $1,492 including the stuff after the Broncos package.

Givne there are a large number of people who have considerably more income than me I believe the vast majority of seats are gone before average Joe gets a look in - therefore the ability ot boast it is sold out in 15 minutes etc.

I see your point about pricing for origin from a revenue raising point of view but have a different opinion - I believe kids should be able to go - the average punter is a large proportion of the games supporters and should be able to afford to go. I do understand that high demand equals ability to charge more and therefore an element of exclusivity but don't necessarily support the idea. (I'm glad I got tickets for me and my cockroach mates though  )

Cheers

Mikey

geez… it makes our pinnacle package look weak?!

Sure does. The SOO tickets may not be on the sideline but as you know most tickets have a good view at Suncorp and there is not stress getting them.
