2 Positives

I was at the game tonight and on the whole it was really painful but 2 things i saw that were extremely positive were

Liam Fulton, wow just wow he was everywhere defensively and i felt for him because he worked his butt off.

Adam Blair He did all the 1% again charged the kickers, dominated his tackles, had a nice offload.

Robbie tried his guts out but the rest just wow.

One area of note was intensity our tiggas just didn't look interested tbh Benji as specially

Buchanan was another positive for me, it was a fair debut for a guy playing in such a badly beaten side.

I'm sick of these blokes never looking interested on the playing field - what's with that??? It happened in so many matches last year and I thought it was just because they were becoming stale under Sheens' coaching, but to look disinterested again in the first bloody game of the season is just unacceptable, imo.

Buchanan did pretty well on his debut. Korobiete also when he put it in to chase down gagai and nearly saved that try.

Benji's impatience early on and insistence to kick on the third tackle when close to the line was frustrating, especially when we couldn't complete sets.

Two positives there was a fulltime siren and there will be a fulltime siren next week.

Fulton was just spread too thin. He topped the tackle count and as a result of trying to plug a thousand holes ended up being found out many times.

If he had wound back the effort his own performance would have looked better but the team would have suffered. Thats how I saw it anyway.

Like I have already stated these disinterested players are quite quite happy to be entrenched in the NRL Superannuation scheme and all the side benefits of being a regular first grader. It is up to the coach to shake them up by at least dropping them for one match. If they still want to live in their dream world without showing any interest or passion then leave them there. The punters paying the money as members and those paying through the gate are wasting their money if we have a coach who is too much of a "want to be a nice guy to players" to do this.

3 - Buchanan looks a player and a half, how did Saints let him get away?

4 - Farah scored 88 points in SC

That we kept them under 50 I honestly thought 60 was on the cards

Farah (but in all honesty we keep playing like that Farah will be a positive for another NRL side in 2014)

Besides the fulltime horn, there were no positives. You can say this person did this or that person did whatever, but that happens on every team, win or lose. Bottom line is, the whole game from the Tigers point was woeful. Absolutely pathetic. Lack of desire.

Miller is a waste of space did nothing only person I believe in fantasy football to get a minus . There has got to be a better half than him . Don't rate him and never did

I ran out of rep, but thats the way I also saw it…

I have been scratching my head reading alot of what has been posted this evening, some of the players copping grief put alot of effort and work in, only to get snowed under by sheer volume. Koro was another one, he didnt dog it like Utai, wasnt spectacular but was outed by his team-mates when he got over-lapped because the defensive line compressed into the centre... if he stayed out wide where he should be there was a gaping hole inside him, I would even pin the reason for the compressed D onto Miller and Braith pushing in, exposing Koro when they spread the ball.

Buchan was excellent, we have made a good pick up their,I thought our goal line defense was better than last year. Its now up to Potter to tweak a few changes. As for Miller he was not great but who was?? Lets not change the seven every week like last year

Didnt see many positives to be honest and my early optimism has taken a massive blow.We can only hope that the knights are the real deal because if they are only top 8 we are in for a very long season with the wooden spoon a distinct possibility.Thankfully its the first game and surely we cant perform as badly again.
