@tigerstu said:I have a few issues with the memberships this year (and seemingly most years). I think the Step Up promotion is great and encouraging some competition and rivalry between the clubs… but having memberships that are basically just pre-purchased match tickets is ridiculous. Memberships and match tickets are 2 totally different things. I don't live in Sydney anymore... actually I don't even live in Australia at the moment, so there is no point in me buying match tickets. Finally they released the stripes membership package where I can be a member without having to spend money on tickets... but now I see these memberships don't count as figures on the whole Step Up promotion. Why not???!!!
I would hazzard a guess the AFL clubs who do get 40,000 members, a lot of those probably don't pre-purchase match tickets. I know they get huge crowds, but who can guarantee how many or which matches they can go see during the year. If the NRL and clubs want more members, just promote that... Memberships... NOT season tickets.

Yes …..but when those Memberships ...the one's with voting rights to elect the Wests Tigers Board become available....I'll gladly fork over $1000 a year for that type of Membership.....until then ST is what they sell ....

Where did you see that tigerstu, I was under the impression that all types of membership counted towards the total membership. If it doesn't, isn't that false promotion? By the way has anyone received their membership cards yet?

above the graph of the membership numbers it says ticketed club memberships.
Meaning only the memberships that include tickets for all/some of the home games
@tigeress said:Jenzed - in reference to your query re membership cards, you should receive them 12 - 15 March. I had a letter from them yesterday telling me I would receive mine around that date, bear in mind I am an Out of Towner. I have received all other items of the kit. Good Luck !

Its not a money thing, thats nothin.
I just needed to get that off my chest, you ssee in the appliction res. ticket options, you think youre getting a decent seat ( well stoopid me did anyway) and then find out I'll be looking to my right for at least 90 minutes.
Just thinking today how much of a rort this all is nowadays, I remember the trial at this ground only 6 years back when Patty snapped his leg, we'd just got herbal world onboard..I think it was $10 in and I was on the 40m line, the trial at LO against manly when a MASSIVE storm hit and Staks & Knuckle got drenched….$5
$50 odd yesterday for tix & parkin...at least I had a decent seat tho
Not cheap
They certainly make money out of people now just for trial games. No wonder teams don't travel to far from Sydney these days to play them. I would have thought that if you ordered tickets through Wests Tigers that they would have given you a seat/s in the WT fan bay. Being given a seat on the dead ball line doesn't seem right at all.
@Kaiser said:Signed up before christmas last year and still haven't recieved the membership card/ticket. Only the hat, keyring and sticker or whatever…
Pretty dissapointed. I do hope this is soon sorted out!
