The official Wests Tigers site has updated its 2011 NRL Player Profiles. The following players have been omitted from the 2010 squad:

Chris Corby
Rhys Curran
Josh Davis
David Fifita
Daniel Fitzhenry
Blake Lazarus
Willie Mataka
Rhys Pritchard
Al Schirnack
John Skandalis
Tame Tupou
Nathan Waters

Pat Politoni and Jake Mullaney have been added to the NRL squad.

Other players whose status has been questioned for next year by some but remain listed are:

Nu Akeripa
Jason Cayless
Andrew Fifita
Matt Hyland
Rob Lui
Junior Moors
Junior Roqica
Jason Schirnack
Aaron Woods

They kept the right players. I still hope Cayless has a strong off season and isn't a write off, would be a tragedy for his career to end this way. Was a great player in his prime.

That's Big - Does that mean there is no future for these guys @ WT or Just State Cup for now.

Rhys Pritchard

Tame Tupou

Tame is gone completely - as is Lazarus.

Corby, Curran, Fifita and Schirnack are still contracted to Wests and Balmain I believe - but I may be wrong.

Pritchard was off contract.

Always a bit sad to see some players go, but that's life, can't keep them all.

Who will be halfback for BRET now that Lazarus is gone?

 his pic is for sure….

The answer is No...no comfirmation officially....

Looks like no other club was willing to take the risk on Cayless.

I assume he will take up the Skandalis mantle of being used instead of blooding younger forwards

At this stage, its mainly a game of Fish. Outside of the starting 18-19, stack your top tier with players whom probably wont get many or any runs…

Lets trust Humpty to get this right and work some magic!

well so much for all the huff & puff about Mullaney going to the sharks or broncos…

Overall the squad looks good. Still a bit perplexed why the club is persisting with Cayless. I'll be surprised if they get 10 games out of him next year.

What can they do ??? - J Cayless was a speculative recruitment - His shoulder issue is now a knee issue if I remember correctly.

If he plays a few games in 2011 at 80% of his previous form it wouldn't have been the worst foray into the player market the WT have made in our history.

Looks like the clubs developing some decent depth in the forwards which should manifest itself over the next few years..

About time we got a Politoni make it through to the top grade squad, that family has been around the Tigers juniors development for a long time so congrats to Pat

Where is Tame gone?

And whats the go with Will Mataka?

Tame has retired. Mataka might be playing for Cronulla next year, Smeg or CT might be able to confirm.
