A surprise to me was that John Grant was worth more than Lote Tuqiri?

Is that on SC? because i haven't seen him lasted on DT

Nah mate, the Toyota NRL Dream Team competition, the one on the NRL website. He's listed for $148,700.
I've found this competition really tests your knowledge of fringe first graders who you think might be given a chance throughout the year. I'm on struggle street trying to find a few cheapies so I can fit under the cap.

Ah yes so he is. Missed him the first time. As far as cheapies go, i think there is some value around. Look at a couple players who didn't play much last yr. As far as wingers/fullbacks go, Kevin Gordon from the Titans is good value at 96 grand. Same goes with Scott Geddes from the Rabbitohs, 96 grand as well. A massive chunk of my cap comes from backrowers. They're just about the most prolific scorers i think, so its important to add as much strength in that position as possible

Backrowers and 80 minute hookers, especially if the hooker can kick goals.

Played DT for 1st time last year and it took half year to get head around scoring and now they go change it on me, ended up finishing 1,011 last year. Hoping to crack Top 1000

YEAAAAAAAAHHHHH !!! Roman Legion is back babyyyy…and ready to annihilate anyone who stands in his way !

Welcome. I have Lawrence in my team this year. With the increase in try scoring points he was too tempting. Still a few spots in the Winfield Cup league if anyone wants in **484366**

Is it just me or does everyone get a bit bored of dreamteam or just forget about it after 5 weeks , then care about with 5 weeks left

Bit like that. A few played right through last year though in Aliens leagues which made for a good finals series.

As for getting bored I,I don't, if anything this gets me and my friends excited about the results of other games in which our teams aren't playing and encourages discussion.

For me DT adds to the NRL experience.

Does anyone know who the name of the back rower for the Roosters last year who partnered Anastasia (god autocorrect can be funny sometimes) for most of the year? I don't think it was Tom Symonds, might have been Anthony Cherrington? I remember thinking gees he goes alright. I want him in my dream team and just can't think of his name :/

Just found him. He's a bit pricey though. Averages 58 points though. Cheers mate.
