The following is all from an individual who is about to be a former wests tigers back rower! (no names lol)
Anasta was signed, (not saying that it was the wrong or right decision) but we need an experienced playmaker to take control when benji is not on song! As it has been shown so many times this year!
Pertybourne has been consistent and rewarded with a starting spot for the last portion of the season in a formidable south Sydney pack even though he is leaving next year! This is a positive!
But let's go through a few things,
Last year as reported in the news, it was official heinington and Ryan were being sold as a package deal to penrith.
This was sheens idea, only to have Robbie and benji approach the board the morning of swapping the already signed contracts. This is the only time that this has been done by benji and Robbie!
Sheens does not like the overall impact they have on the squad!
Beau is a naturally funny person as is bryce Gibbs! This automatically undermines Tim sheens when training and drills etc as it gets others not concentrating 100% and gets others involved, heinington and beau also get on well, and heington was almost dropped last year for uncontollably laughing at beau at training!
Jake mullaney was told by sheens that he was too small and never play first grade! This made it a priority for jake to go elsewhere!
Tim sheens asked senior players if Willie would be an asset at the club, and they mostly said yes If he leaves his shit at the door. This was said to be a done deal until the media caught hold of it! And then sponsors etc closed the deal very quickly!
Sheens will not be payed out as the club cannot afford it! And he has finally got his way getting rid of what I personally believe is the glue that holds club together, a Bryce, beau, heingninton influence, a spirit of a team!
Only time will tell if this will work! He is right with one thing we do have strong juniors coming through!
But with sheens at the helm who knows how he will use them!
Everyone knows how he has used Blair! He was one of the best back rowers around till he came to us and now he doesn't look like he can play! This isn't the player but how the player is being used!
Next year sheens has got his way for playing group and he should live and die by the sword no excuses!!!
