I haven't watched any of the samoa games, but have heard Tim Simona has been pretty Average - is he still carrying some sort of injury into the series or something?

Don't know who told you he has been average.
He's easily been one of their best, he looks dangerous nearly every time he touches the ball.

He cost the Samoans the game v England

No Simona didn't cost them the game try blaming Roberts brain explosion with 3 or so mins to go when he got the ball from a kiwi drop ball then tried to flick pass with 5 kiwis around him that's who lost them the game

He dropped 2 bombs that led directly to the Poms scoring 2 tries and they lost by six ??

Take the black ,white and gold sunnies off Mafia

 You're both talking about 2 different games….

Simona has been solid with the ball in hand and runs it very hard... but has been shaky under the high ball....he dropped one after Roberts brain fart...which gave the Kiwi possession that led to SKD's TRY...didn't cost them the game but it contributed...

As For 2015 Simona to start at left centre,,,Lawrence on the right...if they don't perform back to reggies they go...

simona really hasnt been able to recapture his 2013 form. he's looked dangerous but he's half a tackle break away from running an 80m try so often its not even funny.

havent seen any fend really either. hows his pec?

average under the high ball, but up against SJ's spiral bomb while playing fullback (not his prefered position) i can understand it.

To be fair he didn't get much quality ball last year & neither did Nofo for that matter. I reckon once he does make that tackle break & scoots off for an 80m try the flood gates will open.

Like Lawrence, Simona seems to have issues with his hamstrings. His pace this year was way down on 2013\. He seemed very reluctant to stretch out. Maybe a good off season will help, but once your hamstrings go you usually have problems for the rest of your career

Asipeli needs to spend the entire off season doing speed and agility training. Don't add any bulk to his frame, lean him out and work on his movement. He has thighs like Meninga and we really don't need him adding size, if anything, he would benefit from leaning up a little to gain that extra agility.
If he can do this he is a potential NRL centre. But if he can't, then he is a potential NRL back rower and a State Cup Centre. His off season is very important.

Looking at his size, his ball skill and his ability to run a straight line, I would like to see him improve his agility and nail left Centre. I think Fine/Simona on the left with a fit Lawrence/Nofo on the right gives our halves the size and finishing power they need outside them.

Why oh why must we persist with Lawrence at centre…
He is garbage.

Fine at right centre, Simona at left centre, Lawrence on the bench playing backrow.

Richards and Nofoaluma on the wing with Daniel Tupou to replace Richards in 2016 and Seve to replace whichever centre isnt at thier best but IMO it will be Fine and Seve in the centres in 2016

out of all of our current centres..
Kevin Naiqama, Chance Peni, Asipeli Fine,Jy Hitchcox
Chris Lawrence, Tim Simona, Marion Seve, Delouise Hoeter and Nathon Milone.

i'd go Simona and Fine.
keeping a keen eye on Seve and Milone in NSW Cup.

Simonas much better on wing for me. Even at centre, it seemed most his breaks were made outside of his opponent.

What about sirro to centre. Has the size strength passing/catching skills. Would need to learn defensive structure. Not setting the world on fire in the forwards.
