2015 Predictions

I really believe Souths will fall back to the pack without Burgess and Teo. They're half the team without Burgess, can easily see them finishing in the bottom half of the 8.

As for us, if we have a good run with injuries, we'll definitely give the 8 a shake.

the 2 best teams this year IMO were us and souths…. take a look at this stat

Number of times less than 5 penalties received in 2014:-

Roosters - 10
Souths - Zero

Number of times 9 or more penalties received in 2014:-

Roosters - 1
Souths - 13

idk how you can compete with that...yet we won the MP that is why i know we are the best in the comp even without SBW, all stats say we shouldnt be in the top 4 yet we won the MP back to back... incredible

All those stats tell me is that your team's discipline sucks!

interesting conclusion since these stats are for RECEIVING penalty's…..which has nothing to do with our discipline.

so you sucked at dominating the ruck this year and getting penalties from the other team trying to slow you down. souths, with 4 burggi, luke and teo did a bit better.

no they just got more 50/50s and pretended to cry better.

Roosterman Your kidding?
You feel it was one sided when you guys played Souths right how do you think Cowboys felt?
1\. Sonny Bill drops the ball on the half way, ref calls it strip which leads to your field goal, which Cowboys lost an opportunity to have a scrum on the halfway line with a couple of minutes to go .
2\. Shaun Kenny Dowell (obstruction) Sheppard, no penalty to Cowboys.
3.The grub Jarred Hargraves late shot on Ashton Sims ( no action)
4\. 3 late shots on JT after his kicked the ball , no penalty but yet Pearce gets 2 penalties in the 1st half for late shots.
You should thank your lucky stars you even got the opportunity to play Souths after being 30 - 0 UP.
Think about it? it's not good business having Cowboys in a Grand Final how many would travel from North Queensland to it 3000 or so? , especially long weekend and airfares tripled , a Cowboys vs Bulldogs Grand Final i reckon 60,000 as appose to a sellout 85,000 whatever it was ?

Just calling it how it is , not necessarily right just my thoughts bud.

number 1) dont bring logic into this!
number 2) im not talking about our game with souths, im talking about souths in general the last few seasons seem to get massive leg ups
\
\
Over the past 7 years, Roosters have a -297 penalty differential! The next worst is the Dogs on -104\. Souths of course, lead on +153\. That's a 450 penalty advantage on the Roosters - or avge 64 a year.

Roosters haven't had a positive penalty differential in 10 years! Souths have 8 straight years of positive penalty differentials.

they have always been NRLs love child and the bias telecast of the GF is evidence to that, it was so pro souths it was sickening not to mention nine reminding us how heroic burgess is every 2 mins.

You can't even admit Souths were the better side , you keep going on about penalty counts , the 2nd half they bamboozled yous and 2 late tries from the Roosters made it look respectable .
Your quick to :bawling instead of being gracious in defeat , but quickly brush it under the carpet when being lucky in defeat.

Souths massive leg ups ? 😱pen_mouth: , gee 1 Grand Final in 43 years , Roosters 6 in the last 14 years , thanks largely to a good accountant
Souths have been to Hell and back , kicked out of the Comp , they have turned it around , broke record for most memberships : March 2014 they had 27,543 Members , Roosters 12,963 and that is of the back of Roosters winning the GF in 2013 .
Overall on and off the field hate to admit it but they do deserve it . I can understand you hating them as your number 1 rivals but your to one eyed to admit it .

Gee the Commentary is that bad , that opinions from former players that have played the game Commentating the heroics of Burgess playing 80 mins with a busted face is not heroic ?
risking further injury , potentially could have damaged his eye from playing on but yet that is not heroic ?

Anyway agree to disagree

SKD played the GF with a broken jaw last year… not one word about it when it happend and all i heard in the GF this year was "i havent seen this ever" and "this hasnt happened since sattler" the hard on for souths and that grub burgess was sickening....surely you dont think channel nine are a good call team? there beyond a joke.

as i said on page one.. we looked tired at the back end of the year... i think we are a better team then souths we just didnt play better then them at the back end... its our own fault we threw the panthers game away a week off instead of playing the cowboys would have done us the world of good.

No one will remember who didn't win the premiership

Souths won and 15 others lost

Roosters complain about their penalty count

Funny how they don't whinge about the salary cap

Everyone knows they doctor their cap with Uncle Nicks help

Helps when you bought storms super accountant OSullivan

Don't know why you waste your time on here Roosterman, you just constantly make yourself a target to the precious few who can't handle objective views from a non supporter.

WOW…. Your memory's good!

If we have the football gods on our side and only have a minor injury here and there I reckon we will make the 8 fairly comfortably. If we lose key players like our 1, 6,7,9 and or key players for substantial periods like this year we will struggle and struggle big time just like 2014.

Well you have come out saying the NRL has helped Souths win a premiership

But that's OK though , your a spoilt Roosters supporter who just isn't used to the NRL giving you leg ups with your teams premiership aspirations

If you want to put on a tin hat and come on here and whinge about your poor Roosters and how it isn't fair expect that people are going to have a shot at the Roosters

You have a team full of dirty mugs , who if they played for any other side would spend more time off the paddock than on and you wonder why you get penalized off the paddock

If you weren't coached to do that exact thing so teams can't control the speed of the game , you wouldn't get penalized

Anyone can see you play the game that way bar Roosters supporters :deadhorse:

Hey what you talking about - this is a Roosters forum isn't it?

Can we get back to topic. Don't care what happened to Easts and even less about the Millionaires club.

Thats what trolls do

Definition of trolling
Being a prick on the internet because you can. Typically unleashing one or more cynical or sarcastic remarks on an innocent by-stander, because it's the internet and, hey, you can.
Guy: "I just found the coolest ninja pencil in existence."
Other Guy: "I just found the most retarded thread in existence."

On the WT's Forum both guys could be the troll

There goes my don't engage with trolls policy.

Damn, thanks Roosterman…
