2016 compare to leading clubs

No mate on the contrary one who has had his heart broken plenty of times and one who knows not to count his chicken before they hatch..

Deep down i like everyone else here want my team to do really well..

I get sick of people saying that when we lose and others win we're crap. But when we win and they lose, we're still crap and they've gone backwards. Ever heard of credit where it's due?

you might have won the battle but the war isnt over yet.

So no need to get cocky over a few win
I never discredit my team when they win or when they have put in an effort and lost.

To me it looks like we are arguing 2 different points here

It just irrational to say we've not improved our position against them. We've been winning and they've been losing. That's how it works. And we beat them! I don't think anyone really believes we've improved greatly, although some individuals have including our halves - finally. We're in the race (unexpectedly) and we have a team to cheer for because we realise most games when the whistle blows, we actually can win.

i have had a sleep over this and i come back with a white flag.
You are right in saying we have improved, the only comparison i was making in relation to Brisbane was they have been in free fall. So 8 weeks ago we were miles away from them, now with a couple of wins of our own and their losing streak we are closer on the ladder .We were always around the 11/12/13 spot and they were top 4
we still are 10 except in this case they are 6th.
Most of us will always cheer each time we play regardless of the end result however sometimes we walk really frustrated whilst other times happy and proud.

Once we resolve the Farah situation we are well placed. We are improving with a young squad with plenty of upside, we are building depth and playing a better brand of football. We are 2-3 class players off having a squad that could push the top sides.

Because everyone else they've beaten would also be entitled to 2 points and it really wouldn't change anything.

It might change because sides that beat them when they were cheating would remain on the same points. Bit unfair on them though if teams that lost to them were just gifted 2 points.

Just following on from that had sides beaten when Parra were cheating were gifted the points these are the teams who would have increased

Bulldogs +4
Cowboys +2
Tigers +2
Canberra +2
Manly + 2

Would have changed the table.
