2016 Forum Members get together [2 April - Round 2]

Just a quick reminder that this weekend is the 2016 WTF get together…..
Meet and greet from 12/12.30 pm in the Wests Leagues Club bistro,there will be signs showing people where we are...we will have some lunch and beers,then over to the stadium when everybody wants to go...if you don't have tickets,you can purchase them on the day or online,I will buy mine prior to the get together...I haven't received an email from the WTs confirming a player to come to the meet and greet yet,however Iam still hoping..
Look forward to a good attendance,as others from last year have stated,it was a great day and Iam looking forward to meeting many good forum members on the day.....as well as all that ,go the Mighty Wests Tigers ....we will beat the Sharkies....

50/50 odd chance now of going to the match, but can't see myself getting there much before kickoff time. Cooling off period on our house sale finished today, so will be looking at open homes up in the lakes and upper central coast beach areas on Saturday.
It is also our tenth wedding anniversary this week and I really can't think of a better way to celebrate than watching WT run around. The missus is talking about a romantic dinner at the spinning centrepoint tower watching the city roll by, go figure.

Hi guys,firstly I had the pleasure of meeting Bathursttiger and his son Chris,and would like to thank them very much for attending today,thanks to all who texted me and let me know they wouldn't be there today for varying reasons,Daffy..NJLM78 turned up and it was great to share his company once again…there was only four of us,but we had a good day...except for the result of the game...
TT attended the after game party and mixed superbly with the NRL squad...this is some intell that I have gathered...
I met Ryan the assistant to Justin Pascoe,he is from Victoria and has a very knowledgeable AFL management background,he presents himself very well and is a true salt of the earth person who treats everyone the same...he has no airs or graces about himself..
I met Aaron Woods and had a great chat to him....in my opinion he will be one of the better captains this club has appointed...he is such a nice guy,spending more time with people and particularly the kids,he just walked from table to table and thanked everyone for coming to the game and party,he was so caring and kind to some disabled people and their families who were in attendance that it stood out how genuine he is...
I said a quick hello to Mark Oniell and Robbie Farah,both were happy to say hello....
Apparently some of the younger ones don't spend enough time with people and go as soon as they can....some within the club aren't to pleased with that and will try and get them more involved with the off field side of things...I won't mention their names...
To end some speculation in regard to Marty Tapau....Marty was more about Team Marty and the money on offer from Manly....the club let him go because they thought Jesse Sue will be the better footballer, and I agree..apparently Manly are starting to wake up to Team Marty....
Last but not least,I had the pleasure of meeting and shaking JTs hand,never spoke much to him as he was busy,however the players seem to respect him...but that could be for show,not sure,however the whole playing group seemed very well bonded together.....

PS,when Ishook JTs hand I said to him Hobbo sends his love.....hahaha,just joking....
That's all I have for today guys,and I was disappointed with the game again,JT said he wasn't happy with them not closing out the game when they have a lead,but they are still learning...... :smiley:
