Our club seems to have formed an infatuation with the colour grey ….

they were one of the highest selling items last year so they've gone with it again. dont blame the club blame the people buying them

Were they really? Wow.
Some times I'm just amazed. I've never heard a favourable word about that jersey I don't think.
I'm not overly keen on the 9's kit either.
For a club struggling financially, they seem to spend an awful lot of time devising new jerseys.

yeah i was surprised too, guess people wanted a demure kind of jersey. not too flashy (e.g. orange) and easy to get signitaures (black).

if you don't change the jersey no one will have incentive to buy it. by changing it people buy a new one more often = more money.

Anyone caught purchasing the alternate b jersey that Lawrence is wearing should be detained and subjected to a public stoning. That thing is freakin abhorrent.
The other atrocity that is our alternate jumper is not much better…...really, you would find it hard to design jerseys that disgusting even on purpose.Pray to god that we play 24 home games next season so we only have to wear the black one

When does Indigenous one come out?

If they well run it would be out in time for Christmas. I think it could be our biggest selling jersey yet. I know a lot of people that want one.

Seriously it will probably come available about 2-3 weeks before next years Indigenous round. I think the Anzac jersey was a big hit last year and the Indigenous one will be this year.

I'll call ISC tomorrow, they're normally very helpful. I'll keep everyone updated. The art work is very nice and If I got it I'm considering framing it too.

I wonder how much time and money was spent on developing these designs? Five minutes on a website gets you something like this in their black, white and grey theme.

Don't think it matters how much times it takes as long as it's good. The Nike swoop or the adidas three stripes wouldn't have taken long to draw either

Hi All,

So I called the ISC and they have said the Indigenous jersey has not even been approved by the club yet hence no release date and if the club does not sign off on it then it will not be released. So awaiting club.

It most definitely won't be ready for Christmas.

IMO the alternate jersey (orange one) would have looked half decent if the black sash was instead a black V, make the white shoulder orange like the other side and just have the neck piece as white. It wouldn't have turned out too bad, as it is it looks like our players have won some sort of beauty pageant or something with that poxy sash-looking bit.
