Nine have swooped and running with it tonite… I wish someone would shut him up permanently.
I heard a punter on a sports radio program complain about Mr rent a comment... Saying he's no WTs representative... They shut him down because they all know he's good for them... Controversy Wether it be correct or factual

Third issue is there is a third colour associated with the Wests Tigers.
It’s time Pascoe has a chat to Benny and explains to him the differences between the two clubs I think.

Difficult one. Wests Tigers partner with men of league foundation, apparent representative for men of league foundation Benny Elias is approached for comment about whatever.

Whats evident from this whole sorry saga is that the journos who are regularly accused of being loose with the truth, are not alone.
 
I'm starting to feel grateful towards Ivan and Gus. They are paving the way for us to pull off the biggest coup in our history. Sure he probably isn't the coach he used to be, but he's Wayne Bennett for Gods sake. His name alone will be a big attraction to potential recruits and sponsors.

I like the fact that he has said what a lot of fans have been asking…
Ivan needs to talk and clear this up and we need to punt him ASAP..

Not a fan of him myself but this will get the club to sort out sooner rather than later..

Pretty sure to 99% of Australians it is Benny who is the laughing stock.The way that he was "made" by the Balmain Tigers and then absolutely ran them into the dirt financially like some blood sucking parasite was deemed a disgrace by many.

If it is Bennett on his way, hopefully he can expand upon the defensive groundwork Cleary laid at least for the first few rounds this year.

So we might actually pull off a season of strong defensive performances.

And his ability to attract more than just fringe first graders or those past their prime should help reduce the error count.

With some added sponsorship interest (all eyes on whether he can lift the Tigers to finals berths) for 3rd party agreements it all has a lot of positives to it.

No. I said he'd do me. See Ivan's position is untenable and I really don't like Bennett. If there were others available, I'd probably prefer to look at those, but out of Madge and Bennett, I'd pick Madge. Is Hoss available?

We don't want to try and be too cute. Just get Bennett on board for next year, that's all they need to make sure of.

I keep coming back to this as well. There's no way Penrith will want a caretaker coach for the next 2 years. Make them give us James Fisher-Harris and Waqa Blake in return.

And there's no way we want Cleary either. It's delicate with no one having a great advantage.
