Michael Maguire is in the box seat for 2019 only thing that will change that is if In the next 24-36hrs Bennett changed his mind & quits Brisbane.
Also Luke Brooks will re-sign for a further 3 years.

It is not a coincidence because JT reportedly gave "ownership" of the team to that imposter moses

So then it would be all good if IC signed with the Panthers from 2021, and honoured his contract here till then? No chance.

No good for us, no. But he wants out now, and it looks like we are upgrading so I couldn't care less.

It may be no good, but he'd still be honouring his contract, the same way the other 2 did. Wouldn't mean the hate for him would be anymore justified.

Thanks for passing this on. Would prefer Bennett but am happy enough with Maguire who I believe is a clear step up from Cleary. Brooks re-signing is good news too.

Me neither! The hate word gets bandied around a lot by bitter souls. I’d be happy if Ivan saw out his contract with us then moved onto Penrith in 2021\. I’m sure he’s professional enough to do the job that’s in front of him. Equally as happy to have Bennett as a replacement coach if Cleary wants to move on now.

There’s way worse things going on in the world to be pissed off about than coaches or players wanting to change NRL teams.

As i said the other day, its not in this clubs best interest to be dictated to by Wayne Bennett. Either he wants to coach or us he doesnt. The job starts in 2019, thats the job.

Ive just read 6 pages of people expressing their reasoning for not buying membership, getting to as many games or simply losing a bit of interest. We can see the damage the dramas of the last few years have done. I doubt those running the club could want it to continue. We need stability and we need it in 2019.

If Bennett wants to be that man it sounds like he has a few days to change his mind or we simply sign a very good Plan B in Michael Maguire.

Its a win win.

Yes I think Bennett would have been a better choice.
Hope Maguire does the job required. Not an upgrade ….. only in my opinion.
Very happy about Brooks however.
At least it will be settled now.
