Souths have done it once before. No reason they can't again.

As long as I have to choose, it would not about the teams but the people, as I hope Benji wins and Ivan loses. That is all.

As much as I dislike Souths, I’ve already seen them win a premiership, so what’s one more. I don’t care for Benji though. I might if he didn’t insist on constant bitterness towards us.

Momo is another example, similar to Aloiai, that some of our players must look at and think that could be them if they moved on to another club. Guys like Stefano, Twal, Doueihi etc.

Momo didn't play in last year's grand final either. He's been part of 2 premiership squads, hasnt won one yet.
Tipping Souths to win this one
Think they're fresher physically, had a week off and an easy prelim against Manly while Penrith have been in 3 gruelling games in a row and a lot of their key players are carrying injury
Think mentally Souths have the advantage too. They're very calm and focused on the big game on Sunday while Penrith seemingly won their grand final against Melbourne last week. Bennett is also the master of getting his team ready for important games
Team wise I see a big advantage for Souths on their left against Penrith's right, Momers and Crichton are not great in defence and Melbourne had a lot of opportunity to score down that edge if they could ice it
Also think Souths bench is a lot stronger than Penrith's, Burgess and Arrow are fantastic in that role and Bennett gets his bench rotation perfect every week. Ivan sometimes struggles with his rotations and with no Pangai guys like Leniu will be forced into bigger roles
Penrith will need to score first and get control, they've won all 15 games when they've scored first this year. Think it'll be really close but it Souths can rock them early like they did a few weeks ago, score first and maintain field position they'll win a close one

I can't split them for the win, but will be cheering for Souths as I'd love to see Ivan lose another GF, and I'd like to see Benji win another one.
I know things didn't work out great between Benji and WT in the end and supported the club in not re-signing him. But I guess this shows that I'm really still a fan of his for various reasons.

Putting a few dollars on a Souths win and Blake Taafe medal combination.
Good luck to Benji. Still a good player but not suitable for our weak defensive side. Wouldn't be surprised if he sets up a try with a flick or something. Got something in him that guy,
