13. Sharks – 45.87
14. Dragons – 44.5
15. Knights – 43.87
16. Dogs – 43.37
.

Something I kind of do every year, this year however ive converted them into a final figure. All subjective and a little bit of fun of course. The last few positions in the 8 will come down to injury given the closeness of the ratings.

* Rate the 1,6,7 & 9 spine players out of 20

* Rate the forward pack and bench rotation out of 15

* Rate the amount of players in the 17 with genuine game changing X factor, Multiply it x 2.

* Rate the over all depth of the squad out of 10, with a focus on key positions.

* Rate the coach out of 10

Give it a go. . . .

Spine out of 10 -

Daine Laurie 7
Adam Douehi 7.5
Brooks 7
Liddle 7.75
Simpkin 7.25

Diveded by the 5 players x 2 scale

Spine - 7.25 x 2 = **14.5** out of 20
Forwards = **12** out of 15 (about the 7th best)
X Factor = 7 players x 1.5 scale = **10.25** (Laurie,Nofo,Roberts,Douehi,Liddle,Blore,Lucy and Stefano)
Depth = **7.5** out of 10 ( we are strong)
Coach = **8** ( 1 x premiership)

**Score = 52.5**

Brooks 7..where is The Patriot and what have you done with him..

If we are looking at actual statistics, I wonder how many teams drop out of the 8 every year?

I would think the average would be 2 or 3 tops?

I would have "last year's performance" as one of the main criteria

Roosters $7 to win the comp

Dogs $5.25 most losses

Knights $23 most loses

Small bet on each option based on the rankings above. Surprised the Knights ranked so low but was surprised the Broncos got the spoon last year .

Roosters at $7 is great value!
