Kei is probably the main one to keep an eye on, this kid is a handful and knows how to find the tryline. Big Tuki will be a work in progress, I don't expect to see him play FG this year. **Cini will probably go back to the Panthers and he's no loss** and Seyfarth's success will depend on whether he has bulked up more to handle playing in the middle.

Why is Cini “no loss”??

Can't tackle.

Thought CINI was touted as a future star....

I've seen nothing to suggest that at all. One of the worst defenders I've seen.

That being the case, no room for poor defenders in the team....

I’m looking forward to seeing Shawn Blore and Asu Kepaoa continue to grow their game a become regulars in 2021.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Stefano Utoikamanu is played off the bench on a regular basis and hopefully Jake Simpkin makes the most of his changes.
So that’s 4 Rookies that have a very good chance of becoming NRL regulars.

Does anyone see potential for any of the other rookies in our squad making much of a mark on season 2021?

Alex Seyfarth
Jock Madden
Tukimihia Simpkins
Zac Cini

Development players: Kelma Tuilagi, Reece Hoffmann, William Kei

I think all development players have great potential.

I wasn't overly fussed with Seyfarth's performances last year but will give him the benefit of the doubt - he will only be used as depth. Madden might get a few games however I doubt we will see Simpkins or Cini in 2021.

Would like to see them all eventually compete for starting spots....

Simpkins will most definitely be featuring in 2021. What on earth are you thinking??

I'd love for players to earn there spot. Simpkins definitely featuring seems like it's a given when his has played 1 game in 18 months when the season kicks off. Imagine if he actually had to play some decent footy to get in to the top grade. But he will most definitely be there.....
Liddle could also kill it for 80min each week...but Simpkins is definitely going to be there....

I knew this would happen...we have Jake Simpkin no S who is the hooker and we have Tulimiha Simpkins with an S a big back rower signed from the Cowboys..

When the hooker Simpkin splits them from dummy half and finds a rampaging Simpkins on the way to the TRYLINE all bets are off..

Simone will have scored ...all that matters

Taumalolo style , bulky but has speed to burn

Yup

Are you talking about Simpkin or Simpkins chief?

Jake Simpkin. Must have autocorrected to simpkins as i've typed that a few times recently. Though i think Simpkins will also debut towards the end of the season. If Seyfarth can get game time so can Tuki

I remember one attempt from 2019 I saw ...I'd have dug a hole ...it lacked ticker ...I can understand getting caught in the wrong position defensively ...but you still try and hit them with some conviction ....it made Benji's defnce look like Gilmeister

Several. One of the worst defenders I've ever seen. If he's ever used his shoulder it wasn't playing league.

You blokes see a lot more than I do being up north of the border .....but defence is attitude 100% of the time ...not just when you are winning or deciding to have a dig

We need the variety an excitment that they bring.plus the speed. We have been bland in attack and some of our buys previouslydid not bring much to the table. They will take time but we must percervere,.

He’s got a lot more chances than a lot of the others but is he all that he’s been talked up to be? I’m thinking he’s going to be good but yet to see him have a break out game. Will he make the side?

Having only played 13 NRL games.. Too early put Talau in the crossroads category.

Mbye, MCK, Roberts and Garner are definitely at the crossroads point in there careers. If they fail this year, I don’t think any club will be looking to recruit them. BJ and Packer as well. Packer might be on the other side of the crossroads.

Mikaele, Musgrove and Liddle are past rookie status but all under 25 But I agree still need to prove They are NRL players.

Crossroads maybe from a WT perspective, does he stay on if he’s not making the team?
