What's nested quotes?

When you quote someone who has quoted someone or many someone’s the previous quotes become ‘nested’. You should only see the person you quoted quotes... that was the problem with attributing quotes to the previous person who was quoted

We are only seeing one quote now since the upgrade a while back.... It used to do my head in seeing posts quoting 4, 5 or so quotes and they're all duplicated.

We only see one quote now but often the wrong person's name

This issue good example I appear at the top of your quote as it’s what I wrote but your name appears just above what I wrote as when I quoted you your post is the nested quote so at times it looks like you wrote what I wrote..

If you click the little down arrow at the top it shows the whole conversation

OMG I've never noticed that down. Arrow before... Getting to old for this

Oh, I enjoy some of that humour.

On another note, I wrote in reply elsewhere that I feel there might be errors due to to close proximity of the thumbs up and down icons with the numeric one.

Don't know if others have an issue with them, but feel a little more spacing would be an improvement?

It's still there..

A pen symbol appears next to the time stamp of the post..

click or hover over that to show amount of times it has been edited ..and revisions..this will show 4 revisions for this post..and last time of edit..eg about a minute ago..lol

Yeah that would be a great one. At the moment you don’t know if you have already given the thumbs up. If you have and you click on it the thumps up count decreases by one. So to restore it you have to click on the thumbs up again.

True, but on a mobile with my big thumbs it’s easy to miss and hit the thumbs up again instead. Further complicating things.
