wrong thread, but welcome to the Matrix
When I logged in I clicked redeem now and it took me to a page where I could select the standard package also offered for me to buy a ticket card. It’s a clunky system and I’m sure the “overwhelming” positive feedback they have gotten is from staff of the club. What do you mean by pay for the cards. The membership cards? Where do I find that? I’m only seeing pet, baby, junior and accessories as options.
nothing is easy with the Tiges lolThanks. It happened eventually!
Couldn't agree more.Well I was 100% correct. Received the email to access the shop.
Apart from actually having to pay $5 for a physical membership card, and getting the free members pack (hat, scarf, lanyard, and presentation box - not even a keyring like in the past - that was $5.50 in the shop), and after shipping (regular not even express), I had a grand total of $3.06 to spend in the store. Not enough to buy anything.
Well I wouldn't really have anyway as the selection is garbage and clearly targeted at children (unless you want a kid styled cartoon tiger plastered on your merchandise).
Both myself and mother were absolutely disgusted and have emailed the club mentioning this, including saying that the membership team could forward it on to the higher ups. However we know that absolutely nothing will come of it.
Just another point of proof the club doesn't care about their members, and are just after more of their money, while offering benefits that are actually just flat out lies.
I was initially annoyed by "baby tiger" also, but found when you clicked on a few things it gave you other options.Well I wouldn't really have anyway as the selection is garbage and clearly targeted at children (unless you want a kid styled cartoon tiger plastered on your merchandise).
I got my email tonight and logged on however I wish I had not got it.When I logged in I clicked redeem now and it took me to a page where I could select the standard package also offered for me to buy a ticket card. you can choose a different style not just the cartoon tiger.I got my email tonight and logged on however I wish I had not got it.
The pack is rubbish and I have never seen a sporting organisation charge to get your membership card.
The cartoon Tiger on the merchandise is very amateurish and may be good for kids but is not reflective of all members. Would prefer to spend on merchandise like a training top not another cap or scarf
Pascoe is out of touch
He’s a solid gold flog, can’t wait for his podcast 😂😂I got my email tonight and logged on however I wish I had not got it.

Well as far as I know Dan doesnt charge you for your member card...either does IGA liqour...or BWS...Save your money and go to Dan Murphy’s
just to add to this, this info re sustainability policy etc was a point made by another forum member on another forum, apologies for not mentioning that but like the ideayou can choose a different style not just the cartoon tiger.
In relation to the membership cards and paying for them my understanding is as per sustainability policy they are encouraging an ecard rather than plastic card. Also company's like Zurich etc tend to only do business with company's that have sustainability policies.
Not that I agree with that but we are the only club that charges for membership cards
I am not against sustainability, however if they truly want to avoid the use of plastic then don't offer the card at all. When your signing up or renewing your membership advise that tickets will be electronic and this will avoid any misunderstanding. They could also offer recycle bins for old membership cards at home games if they want as I have 15 years worth of them x 2 , so 30 cards.just to add to this, this info re sustainability policy etc was a point made by another forum member on another forum, apologies for not mentioning that but like the idea
The problem with not having the card is that not all of us get the emails, so I don't trust that I would be able to get in to the games we've signed up for.I am not against sustainability, however if they truly want to avoid the use of plastic then don't offer the card at all. They also offer a clear plastic bag as merchandise which negates the size of the plastic cards into landfill
Put in a question to ask the boss. This is doing my head in. So I opt in to get my “entitlements”. Okay done. It says I’ve got a $40 credit but my 4 choices are now two. If I pick opting in to the $5 card rort, I still have $40 but zero choices and it’s still saying I’m up for $10 plus postage for the cards. How exactly do you use your credit?
