2022 Season, Where will WestS Tigers finish?

bottom 4 I'd say. AD out for half the season and how our backline performs is a complete mystery. in the game against Penrith it was clear that our forwards get dominated by teams with decent linespeed. we are going to need another front rower or two that bends the line if we're ever going to play on the front foot. hopefully with Hastings there our fifth tackle options improve as well, but I wouldn't expect us to be any higher than 11th.

Same thinking. Current squad as it stands is bottom 4. Hopefully they prove us both wrong.

As our roster stands now, bottom four…but I think you will see a big improvement in our play and we should at least be competitive unlike last year. I still think we lack the quality to get near the eight, 2023 will be the year we kick on.

2022 gonna be another tough year.

Lots of game time for young players.

Bottom 4 but we will willbe much stronger in 2023.

Well let's state the facts right at this point in time.
Gains: Hastings, Gildart, J. Tupou, Peachey
Losses: BJ Leilua, Chee-kam, Packer, Walters, M'bye
Only one person out of the losses played regular football. You could argue 3/4 gains will be regulars. There's a positive.
The negatives are Adam Douiehi injured for half the season, he's our main leader with the way he conducts himself in the Wests tigers jersey and he's our goalkicker. Unfortunately I see anywhere between 11-14. 2023 is looking much appealing though.

Interest thing id cracks are starting to appear in some of the clubs that were untouchable in recent times. Storm in particular but also Panthers and Eels. Raiders have lost something as well. I think the gap between the top 5 and the next 6 or 7 will be less.
Movers will be the Sharks and Dogs.
All we need to do is play with effort and heart each week and I’ll be happy. That might even be enough to get us competitive around the middle of the pack.

Agree, I'm thinking top 8, (7 or 8 ) we were only a couple of games away this season

Not much of a fortune teller, but if I can walk away from the games knowing that the TEAM tried for 80 mins , I’ll be very happy, would be easy to beat this years efforts lol

A lot will depend on how the game is played this year. If they pull back Peter V footy a bit to try and avoid the massive amount of blow outs, we could get close to mid table. On the other hand if the games are reffed like last year, we will struggle with the speed of the game.

Last. I’ve seen nothing that fills me with any confidence. Some new machinations with signings and people coming early etc would lift us up the ladder but it’s all speculation at this point

Realistically we probably finish bottom 4 unfortunately. Just don't have the cattle and going off the last few years, the coaching expertise to do fantastic

2022 is going to be a interesting year. I’m hoping for cohesion and an improvement on this year.

I am not confident that ‘22 will be better than ‘21.

We have been getting worse over the last 3 years and we have basically the same squad and the same coach.

I may be wrong but I don’t think so.

You're all a bunch of big girl's blouses. We are making the 8 for sure this season. Hastings will bring us home.

Lol love the optimism.
22 will be a tough year.
23 is the exciting year.

I think it was the trial game this year against Manly that made me go crazy.

This coming year, I’ll switch off the emotion and watch them but won’t get attached till round 7 onwards.

15th. Anything outside the bottom 4 is a true success

Hopefully anything but the spoon.
15th looks right on paper.
