Broncos will light em up.Anyone feel an upset is on the cards today?
Sadly, I think Panthers are still too strong.
I really hope so.Broncos will light em up.
Surprise upset.
Will be a cracker game.
All facts man...I really hope so.
On their day this Broncos side could beat any team in the world.
This Penrith team though…they are a beast. They are a machine designed to win games of Rugby League. Relentless, pretty much error free. Clinical in their application and worst of all…patient.
If he does, he will catapult his standing in the game through the stratosphere. All facts man...
Broncos definitely have the team to beat em, the ONLY team.
I'm more hopeful than confident though.
Expecting a hectic game though.
I hope Walsh stands up & kills it.
Carrigan is elite man.If he does, he will catapult his standing in the game through the stratosphere.
Carrigan is my man. I want him to rip and tear like he does for QLD.
He is my tip for Clive Churchill if they get up.
In the last four seasons while they've won 77 premiership games..... We managed to win 23Was hoping for a Broncos win but gotta give credit where it’s due. Not looking forward to the antics but well done Panthers. You deserve the 3peat title you’ve earned. Us Tigers fans can only dream of winning enough games to make the eight. There’s a massive chasm we have to cross before we can even imagine a Grand Final let alone making four. Look what Cleary has done after jumping off the bus.
Agree with 99% of this, except for the last sentence...I think any "decent" coach with the Panther's roster would be expected to make the 4s and have a shot at winning it.Was hoping for a Broncos win but gotta give credit where it’s due. I still dislike him for cutting us loose but if Cleary had stayed with the Tigers he would have found a way to bring Nathan over. Who knows who we might have also brought on board. I wonder where we’d be now if that had happened.Agree with 99% of this, except for the last sentence...I think any "decent" coach with the Panther's roster would be expected to make the 4s and have a shot at winning it.
By comparison, to my mind, the way Sheens coached us in 2005 with the roster we had, and the way we played the game, was truly remarkable (albeit a very distant memory now). What Cleary has done is Bennet-like. That is, get on a winning horse.
But good luck to him and the Panthers, it will be a long time before we reach those heights.
I am not really sure 1 man could have made the difference for us...unless JC..!! ;-)I still dislike him for cutting us loose but if Cleary had stayed with the Tigers he would have found a way to bring Nathan over. Sheens admitted he had little to do with us playing like we did in 2005.Agree with 99% of this, except for the last sentence...I think any "decent" coach with the Panther's roster would be expected to make the 4s and have a shot at winning it.

…and the Peach. Unwanted by the wooden spooners who then go on to win a second spoon whilst you move to the team that goes on to win the premiership. Daine Laurie will experience this next year. The person having the biggest laugh on us is Luke Garner. Wooden spoon to Grand Final ring.
Abolsutely! No question 2005 was a once in a decade (or two) event. Still, the way we played then struck a chord (with me) with how the Broncos played last night. And all credit to Kevin Walters too- did he not come here for a job interview?Sheens admitted he had little to do with us playing like we did in 2005.
As a group, they clicked at the back end of the season and our rivals took each other out. Parra and Saints were the best sides that year and choked the prelims.
Sheens proved over the next 4 years he couldn’t recapture that magic and when he almost did in 2010 & 2011, it was a budget version.
05 was lightning in a bottle.
Jack Cogger?I am not really sure 1 man could have made the difference for us...unless JC..!! ;-)
