When Tupou limped off early in the year I had a feeling that was him done. He never looked interested while in our jersey. Think he’ll struggle to make FG at Redcliffe.

Well deserved for Samuela… had a cracka of a year & is still eligible for jersey flegg next season !!! Times are tough at the moment but it’s these sort of players who give you hope for the future. Hopefully him & his brothers are at the club for many years to come.

Most of our big money signings have flopped for the past decade, outplayed by youthful guys who have ambition.

Now that we have been able to secure a couple of reliable stars and a good spine, focusing on youthful ambition to complement them is the obvious next step.
