2024 Grand Final

I don't remember ever caring less about the game. My only interest is seeing Luai and Turuva come here off of a win. Otherwise I'd be barracking for the stadium to collapse........ (kidding!)

Woo-hoo cares.

At least the rain over the last week will make the grass growing interesting
Who are you kidding you'll be watching the final. If you can't enjoy it as a neutral fan then how can you enjoy it as a tigers supporter lol

Why? Because the Tigers aren't there?

No. The storm have been cheats and grubs since inception. They have excelled at finding ways to get away with their crap for years when anyone else gets penalized. You can call it gamesmanship or innovation or however else you'd like to justify it. As a dad with 2 boys who play and coach of a team I don't want to see that crap being copied and kids getting hurt. As for Penrith, I'm just bored of it. I imagine watching the Dragons win their 11th straight was pretty similar. It almost ruined the game according to my grandfather, people lost interest.
You don't need to agree, it's my reason for not being interested. Not sure i'll even bother to watch it. If I do it'll be more for the social aspect and a few beers at the pub.

Melbourne are one of the best clubs to ever participate in this game. I find the hatred towards them absolutely hilarious.
You can’t compare St George and their monopoly to Penrith. For starters, Penrith have achieved this in the era of salary cap and have lost players every year, yet maintained dominance. That’s remarkable.

Both these clubs are leap years ahead of ours. We aren’t even playing the same sport as them. I take interest in watching 2 great clubs who understand the game fully taking each other on.

I will win $41 for my $1 investment if the storm win. So go Storm!!!
JL MOM in a losing side.

I didn't say I don't respect them. I just don't like them. All and sundry hated manly for decades and most weren't around when they were poaching all the best players to know why they hated them. These days most hate Parra. I hate Melbourne. It's infuriating to watch them get away with murder week after week. It makes a mockery of the supposed fairness of the game. No other team gets away with as many forward passes, hell, Grant hasn't thrown one backwards since he played for us!! They have been systemic cheats on and off the field since their inception.
Penrith have done incredibly well to build this dynasty, but I still want to see it crumble. Why? Because I want to see more than 3 teams competing for the crown every year. I'm certainly not alone in that.

IT's sad to see that you are so twisted over 2 teams success. It's only a game at the end of the day. You need to smell the roses.

I can appreciate the dislike for the two teams.

I'm a rugby league fans and I watch most games despite hating all the teams [except ours]

I'm looking at it as;
- if Melbourne win then hell yeah, that's the end of the Penrith reign. Ending just how it began, losing to Melb in the first GF, now losing in the last. Too bad Clearys !!

- Penrith win, well done.... well deserved. Luai & Turuva are coming to the Tigers with another ring and all that experience. Good for the Tigers.

It's a powerhouse clash & it should be very interesting.

The last time these teams met in the GF was 2020. Storm had a halftime lead of 22-0. The final score of 26-20 must have given the Panthers plenty of confidence to go on a three peat.
I think the team with the best 1 and 7 will win. Looking like Panthers.

That was a crazy game.
Storm actually led 26 nil and Penrith came back led by Cleary. It had a penalty try and a a sinbin. Melbourne were bombarded in the last 10 minutes a man short, just hanging on.
I think this Sunday’s game will be full of drama again.
Someone will write their name into history….Munster? Papi? Cleary? Luai?
I think either Isaiah Yeoh or Jarome Hughes will win the Clive Churchill.

should be a great GF tao best teams all year.
Think NAS out is a big loss up front for Storm and inbound put cleary and luai slightly ahead of Munster and Hughes in the halves.
Penrith by 8 points

Hughes has been the best player of 2024.

It's insane how good both these teams are.

I heard a stat on foxleague the other night where they said this is Harry Grants first grand final which is crazy in its self.

We're literally going to be watching the best of the best.

My heart is telling me, Melbourne win.
The Melb wingers, Warbrick & Coates will be in for a big night - both attack and defence.

And we wanna see the old Papi, big runs, hair blowing in the breeze, absolutely taking it to these panthers lads.
