Remembering pre-season training used to start with the coach and trainers telling you to jump in the back of a Truck, Ute or panel van and they would drop you off 10 miles away and say see you all back at the Oval, then once they got the miles into you they always found the steepest street in the area for sprints.
I don’t remember anyone enjoying pre-season but if you started winning games it sure did make the training during the year more enjoyable.

Christchurch and Mudgee for the trials and a bye week one. They’re really building the interest up…

We seem to be the only Sydney-based club without a trial game in Sydney. Colour me surprised…
I'm really happy that 1 trial is in Mudgee. That's only a 3-4 hour drive for me. I'm also looking forward to the Bathurst game, a mere 2 hour drive! Woohooo!

We are betting on a couple of quality kids coming good. Sullivan was let go though and a borderline first grader. Fainu doesn't have NRL level experience and Manly were happy to let him go and chased Brooks. Sezer has a one year contract and he is coming back from the ESL since he wasn't wanted here.

Sullivan was let go because Shane Flanagan is the coach. Son always wins
Many dragons fans are still filthy about it. He is kinda injury prone though which is a concern ..

Manly weren’t happy to let Fainu go , we just offered him a shit ton more money that they probably didn’t want to pay

We are paying on potential, but we needed some sort of change in the halves

What does “we’re coming home” even mean?
I think it started with the poms in soccer lol, whenever the World Cup is played “coming home” is in reference to the trophy coming home to the country where the sport was invented (England)

Now it’s just an overused meme

Many years ago i read that the invading Roman Legions were the ones who bought the game of soccer to England using a pig's bladder as a ball but it can be traced to even further back in time to Eastern Asia.It does not come as a shock to find that some people claim that England are the inventors of it.
