One thing both teams have is an abundance of halves in their squads.
Broncos: Adam Reynolds, Ezra Man,Ben Hunt and Billy Walters. With Jock Madden in reserves.
Storm: Cameron Munster, Jahrome Hughes, Tyran Wishart and Jonah Pezet.
That’s serious depth to get them where they are.

Madge proving we are the only club in the world across the NRL, ESL, International, State of Origin that he doesn’t win something with.

Yep with some actual 7’s and not all 5/8’s trying to be something they’ve never been.
Some halves can do it and I hope Latu can be one of those, but I reckon Jock will get plenty of NRL.
I think most are thinking we are gunna play and develop Latu as a 7 over the offseason, but I’d rather us get his body right and really strong so he can endure a full season on the field. It’s the best way to learn, but every time he gets a roll on, he gets injured and starts over. I’ve seen enough to know if he can stay on the field he’ll have a decent career, and I’m prepared to invest in that, but I want him on the field.

It should be a cracker of a game with the NRL’s two top points scoring teams. I would like to see Reynolds hold up the trophy, he’s been a great player for Souths and Broncos.
Successful teams usually have a great collaboration between coach and half.

It was a smart move by the club signing Jock it was obviously done with Latu's recurring injuries in mind and what happens a few weeks after he put pen to paper, he goes down again.

Benji was made of tissue paper when he was young and eventually grew out of it one can only hope the same for Latu.

“I’m going to make sure I set up this week to get that first kick of the game - there are going to be a lot of people I want to run at, a lot of people I don’t like on this team.

“I’m keen to go out there and run someone over.

“I don’t want to name names, there are a lot of people I think are a bit stuck up. I’m pretty keen just to run out and do a job for our team.”

HAHA!! I wonder why Stef didn't show that sort of leadership while he was with us?

Stef playing less minutes at Melbourne and is used for impact. We just didn't have the class or depth to use him in that way. Not many players have the connection to, or will to stick it out at a club that is struggling when Melbourne comes knocking.

Utoikamanu ignited grand final week on Monday morning when he told reporters there were plenty of Broncos he wanted to “run at” in the decider at Accor Stadium.

“There’s a lot of people I don’t like in this team,” he said.

“I don’t want to name names but, yeah, there’s a lot of people I think are a bit stuck-up and I’m pretty keen just to run at (them) and do a job for our team.”

It seems the NRL has already written the script for this season to get one of its love child's a premiership!

Amazing comeback against all odds against the Raiders then Panthers! Mam & Reynolds supposed miraculous injury recoveries! Reece Walsh the new superstar pin-up boy of the code.

Any money, Stefano will take the 1st hit-up off the kickoff then a swarm of Broncos led by Haas & Carrigan will smash him and drive him back.

In post match presser, Madge will say he put up Stefano's comments in the training rooms all week!

This all makes me sick!
 
I think Storm will win, as long as the spine stays healthy. They have had easier games, with more stoppages, and they'll have an extra two days off to fix their bodies. Unlike Raiders and Panthers, the Storm should be too fit and lively towards the end of the game when the Broncos have exploited fatigue to come home fast.

Also, there'll be pressure on the ref to not blow penalties, and no one outside of the WWE wrestles like Storm.

It's all so frickin' boring - Storm, Panthers, Roosters and Broncos ... over and over ...
