Heard them mention during the broadcast Saints and Manly had what theyre calling a scrimmage...apparently not full on intensity of a normal game but I thought thats what they called an opposed session between two inter club teams, only difference here I can tell is different clubs

Its pretty much the same as opposed sessions except against another club you don’t know the plays so it challenges defence. Opposed sessions Nrl v Cup from same club everyone knows the plays. We did one v dogs in 2023. Knights usually play storm in one as well. Nothing about it on Wests Tigers website yet if it doesn't happen they will have to look for a club/pub televising it next best thing.
