Here are my predictions -

Dally M - Cleary, Dylan misses out by 12pts and James comes in a close third

Fullback of the year - Dylan Edwards

Wingers - Tom Jenkins and Alex Johnston

Centers - Herbie Farnworth and Casey McLean

Five eighth - Ethan Strange

Halfback - Nathan Cleary

Hooker - Apisai Koroisau (but it will probably be Harry)

Prop - Fonua-Blake and Terrell May***

Second Row - Hudson Young and Liam Martin

Lock - Erin Clark

*** If Twal hadn't sustained multiple injures, his early form was good enough to challenge for prop of the year.

Feel sorry for Nathan.
He has deserved this Dally M for years now but had to share enough points with team mates that it was impossible to achieve.
This cruel injury has not only prevented him from appearing in another grand final and playing for the Kangaroos in the World Cup but now standing onstage and receiving an ovation from his peers as the best player this season. Life can be very unfair.
Anyway, big congrats on finally securing this medal. It would have been a travesty for him to finish his career without it.

It must have been a bittersweet feeling. His couch interview proved what a humble guy he is.

Yeah he is one of the good guys.
Didn’t get involved with the smug crap that Luai and co embraced when the club started winning.
Copped a ridiculous amount of shit from NSW “supporters” and returned serve with a series win and the Wally Lewis Medal.
Never been a loudmouth gloater despite his enormous success.
Just a footballer, and a damn good one.

Wasn't thee also a year he was suspended and lost points - But still almost won it?

I read Ivan's book a couple of years ago and my respect for Nathan since then has really shot up.

I think he is genuinely a great person. Wish him nothing but happiness. I was definitely a bit angry when Ivan left us and didn't wish them both the best.

Absolutely RHS, with all due respects to Webster, Holbrook won by the length of the straight. My only question is, what do you have to do to win it ?
Moral victory Justin, maybe you can ratify it on Sunday !!
Oh yes please, I don't want the boiled chickens to take another premiership with their unique salary cap over the years, that would be another kick in the goolies to end the NRL season.

Wahs basically came first without two halfbacks, Jackson Ford and RTS.

Webster over Holbrook is a no-brainer until Rd 27.

Cleary is the other one that should consider himself unlucky. Poor guy has one 1 medal after 7 years of domination.

Coach and captain of the year is all PR crap anyway. I don't think they actually have any criteria.

Don't agree, the Knights were in shambles at the end of the 25 season and they had their injuries too, stunning turnaround for Holbrook to pick them up off the canvas and make the top 8 in his 1st year.
