2026 - Tigers Pre-Season Video

,but that lovey dovey stuff has been floating around in the general public / work place the last 15 years.
Turn the cameras off ,DaddyBenjie should tweak a few ear lobs and tell some truths
hope the hierarchy comes to their senses ,sooner than later
True, and this is a PR video without doubt. This is about selling the team to the fans and not much more. I just get the feel that outside of the almost scripted scenes Benji is in the ear of certain players coaching them on how to lead.

Puff piece or not - it looks as though they have moved on from "lead" from the front and have others follow to trying to teach what leadership is about; and each individual needs to figure out that that means to them and how they will do it. Api is a lead from the front dude, Romey has a charismatic style, Twal appears to be one who is looked at for moral courage and inner strength.

This is the sort of thing that Bennett is about and probably something Benji has taken away from his time with him. Benji himself has a charismatic style of leadership; but I expect he is a deep thinker who plans before he speaks. A good trait.

It’s all BS until proven on the field.
Remember last years doco?
Then they came out and played like pussies rolling over in front of sold out home crowds.
It’s all fluff crap.
. . . . . . and we made Bula run around carrying a huge log and now he is going to leave because of the way we treated him. 🤣 🤣 🤣

I get a feeling Benji will be a great unlock for KPP.

If he can get him confident and playing to his strengths - we'll see a lot of good play around him. Hope we have players lurking around him.

I think unlocking KPP will have more to do with the half he has inside him. If Doueihi can be that running threat but also at the same time straighten up and give good ball to KPP then it will be very effective. A lot depends of AD wearing the 7

The final chapter of Rising.

The Wests Tigers take a young roster to Newcastle to face the Sydney Roosters in their first trial match, giving the club’s emerging talent a chance to prove they belong at the NRL level.

Away from the field, Jarome Luai heads into the community through one of the club’s Empower programs, while the squad enjoys some lighter moments at the Wests Tigers annual Golf Day.

Back home at Leichhardt Oval — the 8th Wonder of the World — the Tigers face the Penrith Panthers in their final trial before the season begins.
