Wests Tigers NYC Holden Cup Coach Willie Peters has named his side to take on the Newcastle Knights this Saturday, May 21 for their Round 11 clash at Campbelltown.

Kickoff for the match is at 10:40am as Wests Tigers look to extend their unbeaten run to seven consecutive games and further consolidate second spot on the Holden Cup ladder.

After another convincing win over the Bulldogs last weekend, Peters has been forced to make several changes to this week’s side with Junior Kangaroo props JJ Felise (promoted to NRL) and Junior Tatola (ankle) both unavailable for Saturday’s game. Taniela Paseka and Ray Stone replace the duo in the starting side, with Mark McCormack and Toa Mata’afa also included in the run-on side to replace Ryland Jacobs and Esan Marsters (promoted to ISP).

Co-captain Jack Wheelhouse returns from an ankle injury to start the match at lock, with Lenny Sauni, Trent Pye and Rhys Sciglitano all named on a four-man interchange bench.

Ray Stone in the front row is a hell of a gamble IMO. Hopefully the boys can continue their good form but I think the Knights could spring an upset here.

Do you actually think they'll play him there tough Willow? He's the smallest forward we have, and while he's aggressive his body can barely handle the back row much less the front row!

I can't remember the last 90kg front rower running around in any grade. Most are somewhere between 105-115kgs, even in the NYC.

A smaller version of Liam Fulton playing prop? Would be a scary thought.

How does this kid go - Taneila Paseka? He is another kid who is massive and wont cut it after u/20's?

Pretty good. Still eligible for next year but he is causing some damage out there.

Does anyone know when Junior Tatola and Moses Suli return?

I don't think Suli will be back anytime soon. I think the injury was serious and they weren't going to rush him, big wraps on him so they'll look after him as best they can.

Back in time for NSW U18 selection or is it out indefinitely?

Don't know sorry, I just remember watching one of the Tigers injury update videos, maybe a month ago where they mentioned he picked up an injury, I think a leg injury and it would keep him out for some time and they wouldn't rush him.
