I can't work out some of the comments and points given in this thread.
If 62 tackles is not an impact I don't know what is. The reason Taylor has to make 50+ tackles (most in the middle) a game is because the Front rowers are bludging or incompetent.
Impact is not just sticking the ball under your arm and running into a wall (e.g. Tapau or JWH and then bluge for the other 50% of the time they are on the field.
With two decent props (e.g. Matulino and Packer, if he is signed) you may be able to move Taylor to the edge so he can ball play more (he is good at it) and if people think he can't protect the halves they are not watching the games. This would then allow a big mobile body to play lock e.g. Aloiai.
You can't move Taylor away from the middle at the moment bacause the flood gates would open more than they are now.
