Lots of people missed Blake hogging the ball and murdering the overlap, not once but twice?

i couldnt believe the play when he got caught on the 5 th …. he had his winger unmarked and a big chance to score in the corner....

As I posted during this week - the guy has basically not passed the ball (successfully) since coming into first grade. Going great but has got to get the pass happening.

Ellis very important in defence and attack (but lose the trip)
Gallant - great under the high ball. Ran brilliantly to help set up Tui's try
Marshall - dangerous every time he touched the ball, he starting to mesmerise defences again.

**1 - Lawrence (not sure if anyone noticed but he made at least half a dozen very important tackles tonight, especially in the last few minutes).[/**quote]

Yeh i notice he was everywhere in defense ,he was rushing off hes line and putting pressure on lyon every time he touched it and he was the one that forced a few of the intercepts

3-lawrence
2-ellis
1-Gallant

3 Lawrence
2 Gibbs
1 Payten

Its the winger outside him… i wouldn't pass him the ball either... he did once and he dropped it :imp:

1\. Ellis - absolutely love the guy!!
2\. Gibbs - my humble pie is tasting great
3\. Marshall - a greatly improved long kicking game tonight

I have noticed this also - Maybe the problem is he has no confidence in his winger - I know I don't

3\. Ellis
2\. Marshall
1\. Gibbs

Notable mentions to Ayshford, Lawrence, Payten and Farah. No poor players tonight though.

Seems a shame to pick particular players when it was such a great team effort, everyone went well.

I think we were helped out by David Williams who had a shocker, Tony Williams who can't seem to defend kicks and Matt Orford who I thought took some really bad options today. Watmough nearly made up for all of them though…

Watmough best player on the park, though I hate the bloke he is one of the best in the game at the moment.

As for us, well our best was clearly **Orford** then followed by;

3 - Ellis
2 - Gibbs
1 - Ayshford

was also impressed with Lawrences defence, Benjis decision making and Skandos ticker.

I was really impressed with Galea and Payne continued improvement during the last month…..both were the back bone to our defence with Robbie of course.

3.Gibbs
2.Mighty Mouse
1\. Galea & Payne Ellis...

But really another great team effort

I saw that one Ink, where all he had to do was draw and pass to Ryan on the last tackle with 30 meters to the try line and support on the inside. Was not happy about that however I thought that Blake had a very good game and is growing into a fine 1st grade footballer with every game.

In saying that my 3, 2,1 is:

@ $32 is just aroudn the corner :smiley said:
2- **Blake** ( this kid just gets better and better. His defence is alot stronger than i that it would be. just needs to look up more in attack and read the numbers in defence better to create openings for his outside man)
1- Galea - he has been playing some good footy of late and his defence was outstanding. Took some big shots from Watmough but still kept going. Was good to see Danny play alot more mintues and get more involved in the attack. A good game and should be re-signed for next year.

Oh yeah forgot Galea…....He played a lot of minutes right....?

Yeah, played about 70mins tonight… played the first 60 - 65mins... came off and the Eagles started killing us up the guts... Sheens threw him straight back on for the final 10mins...

When he was taken off (whether it was because he was subbed or not... i dunno) but the defence around the ruck was sloppy, tackles weren't being completed and the offloads increased 10000 times haha Well that's what i remember from last night haha

He's a great defender and i hope he's resigned... Also think that giving him more minutes allows for better rotation in our forwards...
