3 BUYS I WOULD TO SEE.

Im realistic and dont see any of the names mentioned above as a good fit for the tigers, I want people here that want to be here and not just because they are finished with their clubs.

I feel the likes of SKDs are similar to a Blair / Anasta contract whereby its more about the money.

The Taupau / Kevin Nagiama are both examples of good recruitment. Both needed the break and have WORKED hard.

Spot on. I'd rather pick up those players than the overpriced experienced players.

Centre is the priority for me. Our pack does not get dominated, and Marty at lock means overall the backrow is ok. Happy to persist with sirro and would have personally would have stuck with sue with lovett for depth.

Right Centre the cupboard looks bare for at least the next 18 months, assuming one of the kids steps up in 2017.

My personal pick if he would leave nz would be hurrell. He has an error or two in him, but a player who can physically dominate in first grade as though it was U15s is rare! Id happily have

Teddy
Nofo
Simona
hurrelcane
Kev

Moses
Brooks

Woods
Farah
Red
Sue
Sirro
Marty

As our top 13 for round 1 next year at this stage, but there are a few decent centres around if we have the cash. Imo with that one addition we would add power and intimidation to our side to go with the obvious skill.

Good post!…Lets face it the "big" named players will only come to the WT if offered way overs...and we all know what sort of players they turn out...our recruitment success is to find and recruit the Tapau's and Nagiama's of the NRL and give them a decent shot at FG...

MTN is proposing that Tigers are trying to get Lewis Brown back next year.

Would prefer him over Lowe and wouldn't cost as much, still not the experienced signing I'm looking for.

I think we need two types of signings

1\. Experienced men (2/3) with over 150 games. Not to guide our younger players or anything like that- just a couple of players we can count on. Who can play to a game plan and possibly ready to play state cup if needed. Centres/backrowers please.

2\. Re build our juniors system. From all accounts, our RM and HM as well as U20s are weaker compared to previous years. The effect would obviously be seen in a few years- wouldn't mind someone like Tim sheens or Brian smith etc to help us in that regard- some to look over or assist phil moss if required.

Phil Moss rebuilt the Panthers juniors ….I think he knows what he's doing...Don't want Sheens or Smith anywhere near the WESTS Tigers....there time has past...

I have heard the Lewis Brown rumour as well....Would welcome him back with open arms.....underrated player...can play backrow centre and hooker all at NRL standard...

I wouldn't say no to Brown, he's a very underrated player. I think he would fit in very well here, too.

Probably the ugliest man in League. Deadset would scare Stevie Wonder to death. But he's one of, if not the best utility player in the comp. Would be a great replacement for Halatau.
