Replacing Payten with Flanagan or Galloway with Flanagan makes the loss through injury even worse than it should be.
Besides, haven't we had enough of blaming injuries? Injuries are part and parcel of any football side, and IMO we haven't had it THAT bad this season. Look at Souths last week - they were missing more than half their forward pack and a few backs and still managed to beat us.
I think our worse injury toll has been 2006, and fair enough that year you could blame injury for alot of our performances. But this year, I don't think so. I thought this was the year of no excuses?
I agree there HT. I can't see how swapping an injured prop with a guy who is barely big enough to be considered a second rower is better than promoting a State Cup prop who is performing well. You don't just have the injury weakening the side, you've effectively changed the dynamic by having one less prop in the side.
