All I can say is I hope a lot of the negative folk in here don't live their lives with the same fear of failure as they do following the Wests Tigers.

Shawn Blore is my man to step up. If he has a good pre-season and understands what he is, he will absolutely kill them. We've only seen 20% of that guy trust me. Here's hoping.

I think that if these 3 players have career best performances in 2022 we could breakthrough to the finals.
1. Zane Musgrave. Zane has flown under the radar due to injuries of late but now appears to be fit. An uncompromising no nonsense front rower who can stamp his authority in the engine room and tango with the best of the big boppers. He admits he owes the team for their faith in him but can the coaching staff extract that mongrel out of him??
2. Oliver Gildart. Oliver is an international rep player and when he's hot he's white hot, it will be interesting to see if he can bring that to the table in the NRL. The area where we were vulnerable in 2021 was letting outside backs run around us out wide, can he fix this?? Can he bring a less predictable attack to our team. Time will tell.
3. Liddle/Simpkin/Hodgson. Had to bracket these 3 because unsure who will be hooking but the tip is warming up to be Josh. If he can reproduce the form that he had when he first burst onto the scene with the raiders then we will make the play-offs, that's how much influence a modern day number 9 has on a team, his astute dummy half play keeps opposition guessing and he will bring our forwards onto the ball in the right places, he's a very smart footballer.
Obviously the whole team needs to step up big time but for now try to single out just 3 players that will make a difference between success or failure.

Jimmy the jet needs to have a go its his last chance hopefully we can see the best of the jet next season

One good thing about today’s news. Our current second rowers are all fighting for one spot next year. Whoever is there in 22’ might grow a leg with that in their subconscious.

I agree with this. I was hyped for him to play for us and was just underwhelming. I think our ball to him was too late and gave him no room to use his speed.

Simple, to the point and spot on imo.

There are some players in teams that can plateau and be somewhat carried by the main guys.

I'd be calling for our spine first and foremost to step up.... And then the forwards particularly in aggressive defence and limiting post contact metres... Then the back line.... But why not the whole organisation thatd be a help

I think I would reverse that order. First the forwards to step up in order to create time and space for the spine to perform.

Jimmy the Jet. The guy can be a gun in the right environment/day. Glad he is on trial n train.

James Tamou. He is not leading the pack.

All round we need a stepping up in defense. But these two come to mind.
