These are the gsmes sides usualy lose.

Im not rying to be negative, but lets concentrate on going into the game with a great attitude and the rest will take care of itself.

Hoping for big wins are a disaster

The side has matured enough to win the games they are supposed to.

We'll give the Titans a hiding tomorrow night and have a hard fought yet solid win over the Sharks.

Other sides have done us favours….NOW ITS ALL UP TO US!!!!

All im saying is that when the door is wide open, and a side is at unbackable odds to win, they lose. Obviously its not %100, but it often happens. Im just a superstitous type and prefer to not mention these things as they can be the kiss of death. League has a funny way of biting u on the bum.

For the record i think we will win…....i just dont want to get to far ahead of ourselves. Thats just me.

Hope that answers it for u

Well, after today's results, there should be plenty of motivation. It is in our hands. If they want it, they can get it!

Well the Dragons will beat Penrith next week thats 33pts and 4th so we have to win both games to reach 34pts and have a better for/against than the others interesting , I think we might drop one game if our record under pressure prevails..

a 4 spot is motivation enough, but i guess anyone would be happy to play the imploding manly and storm sides in coming weeks.

Have to agree longtimetiger. Finishing in 7th or 8th spot isn't nearly as daunting now that Melbourne and Manly will both be under-strength for the next few weeks.

The titans will not turn up to Cambo tomorrow night to make up the numbers as cartwright has already said, they would like nothing better than to ruin Wests Tigers party- this should provide the motivation needed for our blokes let alone what else is at stake. As has been said earlier, win the game first then build from there, treat the titans with respect being they are an NRL team, work on that basis and work hard to win the game. I hope Sheens has the team using this game like semis preparation with a solid structured opening, grafting and grinding to get on top then start with the flashy play, not before.

Melbourne won't be under strength. They will lose Adam Blair and gain Cooper Cronk. That is a swap any team would welcome. I do agree though about Manly, they will struggle to score points without the Stewart scums and the Wolfman but their defence should remain solid. After this weekend and considering we are able to beat the Gold Coast comfortably at home,i actually think we are the team to beat heading into September. Bring it on!

Can someone help Happy with this question
If we and the Cowboys both finish for example plus 78 but have different fors and against what is more important to get 4th spot
The attack or defence for example
Tigers 490 for 412 against
Cowboys 478 for 400 against
Who gets 4th ????

Have to agree with KS and Cunno on this one. Whilst the Titans certainly haven't had a great season, they still have some very good players in their team and they are determined to finish the year on a high, after winning their last couple of games. As long as the Tigers go into the game with complete respect for the opposition, they should win, but I certainly don't expect it to be a walkover.

I'm not completely certain, Happy, but I think the nod would go to the team with the most points scored. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, anyone. Seriously hoping it won't come down to this though!
