$50 Million reason Wests Tigers are prepared to quit Campbelltown.

IMO the best long term solution would have been a new stadium at Liverpool and consign LO and CSS to local footy. Even if we shared with Dogs it would have been a better and more modern option.
Alas, not to be so we can keep bitching and moaning for another 15 years. That will just about see me out.
Not a fan of the Liverpool area though.

How and why do you reply with this attitude when I have already answered the Q.
I don't respect and won't get sucked into the never-ending vortex style of debate you seem to enjoy... just leave it alone.
Im asking your opinion, you know, what people use a forum for?

You claim constantly that the club doesn't do enough for the Magpies, I think it's relevant and appropriate to ask your opinion when the club does something to improve that situation.

Am I wrong?

You claim constantly that the club doesn't do enough for the Magpies

This club could do a lot better for the West Tigers Brand full stop. Our History is in the past until we start moving forward in a positive manner we are always going the poor old tigers.

I think you and the other bloke [who I won't respond to] who you pinched your 1st paragraph from, exaggerate as to how often I stick up for the Magpies side of our JV.

I only comment when I feel I need to and reply to only those who are respectful and that I actually feel I want to engage with.

And if you want things to move forward in a more positive manner so we are not always the "poor old Tigers", I suggest the Balmain side of our JV at least put in 10% of the $$$ WESTS MAGPIES do, and sooner rather than later, like tomorrow...but I think I may be forgetting a very important fact 🤔 ???.

I have two mates who are former Magpies fans and two who are ex-Balmain fans. The interesting thing is, the Balmain guys refer to the team as the Wests Tigers and have fully embraced the joint venture, while the Magpies guys still only call the team Wests, post pictures of the Magpie when the team wins, and complain about the "Tigers" when they lose or face bad press. I'm not criticizing here; in fact, I'm defending the Magpies fans because I think the attachment in RL is more emotional to the Magpie or Tiger rather than the location, like Balmain or Western Suburbs. I feel the Tigers side of the joint venture became the dominant identity, and the Magpies fans lost out. There's no point arguing about it since I don't think anyone who hasn't totally embraced the new identity by now is likely to change their mind. By the way, I'm first and foremost a Wests Tigers supporter and was previously a Balmain Tigers supporter.

the Tiger is a better marketing ploy , and what is - is . I'd like my Magpies back ,until then i will support the West Tigers
And for dip sticks from either side of the joint venture , the NRL license is only provided on the proviso that the club operates as Wests Tigers, easily amended lol

I'd like to see the two logos merged. I'd have the body of a tiger, the head of a magpie and black, white and gold stripes down the body. It would also have wings. The animal would be able to fly but landings would be problematic because of its weight.

a tiger with wings would tweak the imagination, be a good affirmation

So your gripe comes down to $150k? You have been asked numerous times what you would like to see happen for better representation of the Magpies in the joint venture.

That is all you have come up with.

We can all agree that the money allocated to the 8th & CSS isn’t a great deal. So what I think we should do is do a full knock down rebuild of both grounds. Build 2 new 30k seat stadiums. The cost would obviously blow out like most other government projects that if anyone noticed we could always just say “oh bugger, we didn’t realise the builder added a minor alteration to the plans”. Though some of those clowns in government probably wouldn’t even notice.

There’s plenty of representation for the Magpies in the JV, in fact (not to sound mean to Magpies fans) there’s probably too much of it. I get they own 90% of the JV but the ones that say there isn’t enough are full of it.

We play at Campbelltown and soon will be playing more games there once it’s renovated and some Magpies fans go on like Campbelltown was the original home ground of the club when we all know it wasn’t. Each WT jersey has 3 Magpies on the jersey 2 on the sleeves and 1 on the back of the neck. Our black and white jersey is predominantly more of a tie to the Magpies I know it has a little orange on it but it’s more of a tie to them, as is our orange and black jersey to Balmain it doesn’t have that much white on it. We play under the Magpies banner in NSW Cup after 25 years we should be playing under Wests Tigers maybe one day we will but for now it’s Magpies. We also still play and without a doubt its most famous ground for them at Lidcombe Oval. Granted it’s only for the kids sides and not for first grade, but we still use it. And to top it off we are called Wests Tigers it has Wests in the bloody name. I know commentators will say Tigers or the Tigers majority of the time but it’s still in the name, hell we are the only club when you check the ladder that says Wests Tigers. All the other clubs will just say Eels, Storm etc but we go under Wests Tigers even the Dragons on the damn thing just say Dragons it doesn’t say their full name on it.

I can’t think of any other way to increase the Magpies representation it already has way too much.

That is pretty much my point, I'd like to know what @BZN would like to see as I truly don't understand.
