5day turnaround compounded by a disgraceful loss. We're Gone!

That game sucked the life out of the players. Heat and poor concentration killed us out there against the chooks.

With Parra coming back from another Manly-made deficit and in the fashion that they did I think they will be pumped and ready to belt our boys.

A 5 day turnaround is going to be our downfall v parra!

Yes they played in the heat too, but…...........they won and are full of confidence and will be up against a dejected and almost disgraced Tigers outfit.

We will get done next week.
PERIOD! Simply because we still (as a team) lack the character to stop leaking points and haven't yet mastered that mental edge which seperates good teams and great teams.
😱pen_mouth:

DO YOU AGREE with the above???

**The best thing about the chooks game on sunday??? When the final siren sounded and the game was finally over!
:brick:

Im glad its only a 5 day turn-around. We seem to play better when we lose with a short time to prepare again. We need supporters there to get behind the team. Especially since we are on the road for the next few games following this one.

Remembering that Parramatta are also backing up after playing Manly today. Also we finished strong. Not saying we will win but its not all bad news.

Will be a tougher ask if Gibbs, Fulton, Payten, Lui and Ellis are out injured or suspended in Ellis' case. A few of the Parra players looked like they were carrying injuries today. Both Burt and Grothe were limping at different stages during the game and Hayne went down after a collison with Farrar but looked ok. Fingers crossed he aggravated that sternum injury.

Is going to be a tough ask but if we can work on our defence we have the attack to beat any team in the comp

If fitzty is named im handing in my membership what a joke

The Roosters played in the same heat and they played in 30' heat last week as well. Gus is right we are not mentally tough enough to feature in Semis footy.

Until we learn to play NRL footy, like everyone else does….instead of oooohhh aaaahhh WTs type footy that impresses sporadically......the same results will eventuate

Yeah it's a short turn around. I know parra have I jury concerns too, grothe and Burt both hobbled al through the game.I'm hopin Gibbs n filulton will be right, plus Ryan will be back, Payton would be a huge Bonus too.

I don't agree with the original post. Yeah, the heat took a lot out of the players but they will be managed accordingly at training and have a light week. The Tigers look to be without Lui and Ellis who suffered injuries, but will be boosted by the return of Gibbs, Fulton, Payten and Ryan.

If the Tigers can stick to the gameplan and not fall in a heap when they drop the ball or give away a penalty, then they are in the game up to their ears. Benji is in good touch and I expect Robbie will bounce back after a poor game today. If the Tigers can stiffen up their defence, then they can certainly roll the Eels. They're also in the same situation as the Tigers as far as the heat goes.

you mean the st.george nrl footy - winning week in week out.

We had about $800,000 worth of talent on the sidelines today. Easts were at full strength.

. . . that combined with a coach that has a 32% success rate and what do you expect?

Maybe give some credit to the opposition ….. they have improved a lot since last year. Keeping the margin to 12 probably wasn't a bad result in the end given we were coming off a hard Monday match against Manly.

We'll bounce back

Gotta admit it will be tough. We were flat for long periods yesterday and i imagine our boys will be so for the first half of the week. It will all be about recovery this week ahead. Based on yesterday we will struggle but i think we're better than we showed so hopefully we come up with a better effort friday night.

Well it was pretty obvious how important Fulton and ESPECIALLY Gibbs are to our defensive structure. With them in the side we probably concede less than 32 points and win the game imo.

…and even they have made the semis more than we have.

Try another.
