6 from 10

am pleased with how the team is going.
grinding out win's
evening when they are losing they are still competing and don't give up.

Good result, average attack and defense was worse.
Happy to get the two points but thats about it

6 wins? yeh Id take it…bit id prefer to be playing better footy ...still a way to go yet I guess

That about sums it up I reckon. Very happy to get the 2 points in the end, but geez I thought we would've put the cleaners through them tonight, considering their poor form and lowly position. Sadly, I think the Sharks would've beaten us if Fifita had been playing - we definitely have a ways to go :frowning:

My view is for the last 6 weeks the team has been ripped apart by injuries, what is the verdict so far 6 from 10 now for me that is pretty good going.
This team hasn't even started to play the footy there capable of , get the best guys on the park and a top 4 finish is on the cards ,yes we are not setting the world on fire at the moment by the wins keep coming …be patient it will come with a rush.

6 from 10 is a great result considering we won only 5 games all last season!!! We are only 2pts from top.

We have a rookie 7, a busted arse 6\. Had injuries to key players and have had to deal with lots of injuries generally. In two of our losses I thought we were on control of the game before we were dealt a poor hand from concussions (we are now managing this risk much better). Plus we have plenty of upside.

If u speak hypothetically saying if fifita played then u have to say what if tedesco played. Result = we win

That's true Tigerlogic, but I guess the point I'm trying to make is that we struggled to beat the team on the bottom of the ladder, who have been playing crap all year, and I was expecting a much bigger win last night - it was a bit disappointing.

That said, I'm happy with the 6 from 10 so far this season - it's certainly much better than last season, especially considering we've had probably even more injuries this year. However, I still think we have a way to go in matching it with the top teams, on a consistent basis, but we're definitely heading in the right direction.

So I guess that our wins over the Rabbits, Titans and Parra should be ignored.

With a full side the boys will be very hard to beat. As Woods said today, "Cronulla would have put 40 on us last year"

They are going ok..

Not at all, Magpiecol - highlight my words '**on a consistent basis**'. Yes we beat the Rabbits and Manly well, once this year, and it was great. What I am saying is that I'm not sure we can yet, _consistently_, match it with those 2 teams, as well as the likes of Canterbury, Melbourne and the Roosters, BUT we are definitely heading in the right direction. For the record, I don't regard the Titans or Parra as benchmark top teams yet - they are still proving themselves this season, imo, same as us.
