6 in row losses - WHAT NOW?

Hate to predict this tongue in cheek result but purely based on Canberra's recent result that they want to improve upon and they have heavy forwards. Also we still have niggley problems, that hopefully will repaired and prove me wrong.

No. It's a slightly unnecessary I'll think we'll lose but hope we don't thread. Wait until after the game for the hand wringing and recriminations.

Fair enough will have sufficient chances afterwards if the unfortunate result occurs. I think I read a Forum rule how we can only comment on the game during the game on a purposed thread.

But personally I hope they thrash the Raiders with smart play by the midsfieldsmen defeating brute strength. wrong terminology here mate

Sure there's only one in game thread but rest assured there will be dozens of threads post game no matter what happens.

Titans this afternoon started the match as long outsiders. Into the second half they were down 8-20 only to level at 20 all and lose in extra time just like we did last week, Wests Tigers don't want any supporters who are prepared to give the game away before kick-off.

Frankly speaking I don't have much of an idea of how the game will go as I don't follow Raiders games at all an of course I want the Tigers to start winning again. I did attempt to delete the thread but could not see how.

Now the club must decide on which week to let Taylor go. I have to stress though, the problems won't go away with Taylor's exit. The board, Pascoe, Buckets, whoever, need to conduct a no holds barred review on the playing roster. Make it clear to Brooks and Moses the club only values their worth at 350-400k each and that if they don't like that they can hit the bricks.

Can we not have a "7 losses in row - WHAT NOW?" thread on Thursday please?

Not that I'm superstitious or anything. 😱pen_mouth:

I still have a problem with that sort of money for these guys. Week to week, I'm getting lower and lower. That sort of money is still in the top few percentage earners in the country. They don't deserve to be in that category. As a matter of fact, they're a long way from it. Earning more money than the Prime Minister of the country brings with it some sort of expertise and ability.

I would not dare put my head on the chopping block again. Will be OS for a month anyway and almost out of contact. It is sad when such dedicated supporters are let down so badly. Poor Russell must still be in shock.

The sad part is that after the Manly game, it did genuinely feel like the club was headed in the right direction. The boring gameplan JT had implemented last yr was gone, and both JT and the halves came out and said they'd be given the freedom to play more to their style. Who knew that at that point, and leading 10-0 against the Titans it would implode and we would be in a worse position than last yr when we won our first two then disintegrated.

The scary thing is just how much worse things can potentially get. On a positive note, I reckon Balin will be itching to show what he can do.

Ballin won't be able to change much unfortunately WD, our problems run far deeper than a bad hooker. In fact Robbie has been one of our best in our past few games, he made plenty of half-breaks today only to have no-one looming up in support.

Farahs few runs were ok, but his defence as has been mentioned here tonight, although impressive in amount of tackles, really isn't very tough. He gets pushed back and holds on for about 10 meters almost every time. Still, better than a lot of others out there, but so he should be given his dollar value. I reckon we'll get better all around service from a Balin.
