Marshall - 81.3%

That is a misleading stat as it states how many tackles he misses, if you include how many times he is not even in position(too slow) to make a tackle his percentage would be a lot lower. He is our worst defender and collapses our RHS defence consistently

Attitude plays a huge part, but I also thinks how we attack plays a role as well. A key element of the better teams attack is to try to tire out the opposition through smart play, not necessarily trying to score points on every set. If you notice the better teams when they win large it’s usually a tight match early before they blow away their opposition once they’ve become fatigued. I agree we need to get better with our 5th tackle options but to do this we need to have much better 4th tackle options. Too many times after the 4th we spread the ball laterally and lose the ruck battle. This leads to our kicker having to rush the kick, giving the opposition great staring position. If we play more direct when we shift it, with the aim of a quick play the ball we’ll create more time for better last tackle options... It’s easy to defend if your opposition is running it out from their own 10 metre line.

Well it might be misleading but only comparing that stat to other backs agree he is a liability within our D but so are others and shows we lack some experience with younger players that can only improve next season.
Just presenting the information as per Nrl.
Good call this week dropping BJ might have a whole off season to train harder as no longer a given starter.
Others however need to step up

We leak too many points at the start of games and that might show that our intensity is not there initially, with final game this week will be interesting to see if they play for Benji/Lawrence to send them off in style.
