A bit of news

Disappointing about BMM if true. He could be anything if he applies himself 110%. Hope Koro gets back here quick smart, I'd hate for him to be behind the 8 ball as far as pre-season goes. No surprise about Sirro and Teddy, these two will be in for a good 2014 IMO.

Meh I'll go off the back end of his form last year….looked good then imo...not into rumours

He may well be getting over the injury suffered during the WC

So BMM is not a great trainer…I am OK with that. Not everyone likes the physical aspect of training and the big boys hate the heat of the off season. Providing he maintains his fitness and keeps his muscle mass up then I am happy as Ben will be match fit for the season start and will improve as the season goes on.

He plays on confidence and match fitness and could be anything....or nothing.

Appreciate the news!!

In regards to BMM, I have always been a very long standing fan of BMM but in my opinion there are two things that hamper his game: Ball handling and Confidence
He always starts games giving 110%, rampaging like a wrecking ball with very good pace for a bloke his size. Then he will just randomly knock on. He gets up, looks embarrassed and then often goes missing for the rest of the game.
FMD, he just needs to work on his ball handling. I don't want to go off the OP as their may be a chinese whispers situation going on here but who knows.

As for Teddy and Sironen, bloody good to hear. Tedesco was so damn impressive towards the end of the year I hope he gets his freak on for 2014\. I hear that Sironen has put on size so hopefully we will see some damaging ball running from him!

These rumour threads always degenerate into a steaming oile of …...

I guess they tanked games as well to get try to win the spoon>?

I don't know if the rumours are true but one thing for sure BMM is physically made for this game, If the attitude is right he could be anything. The coaching staff have to be blamed if they can't get the best out of him. Inspire him motivate him do what ever it takes. Don't just turn him into another sad story.

Great to hear Teddy and Sirro are training doing well. Can't wait to see them smash it next year. As for B-MM it's make or break…

x 2.

I think Sirro and BMM could really give our forwards some punch next year although I would still be inclined to play Sirro at 6.

Teddy said in wt video he has only been back a couple of days so don't know how truthful this is.

It's because he played most of last season with broken bone in fibula. He's impressed them coz he's free of that injury.

Hopefully all our team fires up next year and be a force for years to come.

this would be nice.
I do think that wests-tigers will improve alot.
especially in defence. 😛ray:

Since 2005 the Weststigers every year have been a "going to be" team, and really most years have come up short of expectations. Even if we signed Inglis,Scott and Cronk I would be still very reserved in my expectations, its just part of being a Tigers fan, you only get let down if you have high expectations.

To me 2014 we are at the cross road, we either start to kick on and make some real progress at becoming a harden top four type team in the years beyond or we stagnate and beat the odd team but in the main come off second best.So for me it is keep my expectations low and hope for a big suprise

Koro is old news, he's been having Visa issues since before he left Australia to the UK. The world cup couldn't have come at a better time for Koro. Should be sorted out way before the comp starts.

Hopefully BMM received some support with the loss of Mosese. Think they were quite close. Might have lost the point of his footy.
Though he was always prone to laziness.

i know next to nothing about aussie visas. But as a professional player why is Koro having so much trouble with this? You'd think he'd get it pretty quickly under some 'working visa' or maybe 'sporting visa' if that exists. im sure there are probably hundreds of sportsman throughout the NRL, NSW Cup, AFL, Soccer, Bball, olympians who would qualify for it.

I'm sure it will only be a matter of time to sort it out.

Even star footballers (by which I mean, soccer players) have visa issues now and then, and they are worth multi-millions of dollars per season.
