Here's a thought as to what might/could have occurred with the Benji transfer fee saga….

**Mayer:** _Hey Buddy you up for a beer? Got some stuff we need to catch-up on..._

**Doust:** _Yeah, Pricey is keen to have an attacking weapon to kick start his campaign;_

Sheens will most likely jump, so we pull him into a room and ask that as a condition of the signing he'll need to show good will and drop the case with you._
**Mayer:** _No that won't work, he's as stubborn as a mule, he'll stick to the high ground._
**Doust:** _Maybe, but consider this - he's clearly desperate now as 1.his retirement funds are in limbo; 2\. plus he favorite son just joined our team; and 3\. Our squad is very mobile (Pricey's inspiration is sheensy's 2010 tiger pack) that suits sheen's style of play._
**Mayer:** _hmm...you got a point. But what happens if he buck's the trend and pursues the legal fight with us? we will be 200K short._
**Doust:** _well trust me on this pal, I've been doing this longer than you. So, how about this then: 400K + you also agree for an early release and transfer for moltz (in the event sheens doesn't sign with us and drop the case)?_
**Mayer:** _hmmm, yes._ <musing quietly="">_This might work the extra funds may come in hand in the event we do have to fight sheenius and loose...and if we win (or he drops the case) that new gym is becoming a reality!_

**Mayer:** _OK I'll only agree to this, ONLY if we have it in writing - nothing against you, but we do have some history with the moltz saga, and I don't want it biting our behind this time._
**Doust:** _Good, Benji will be happy with his best mate around. It's a win-win situation._
