A few players potentially on the outer at their clubs.

Will also be interesting if we try to offload a few under-performers before 30 June. I hope we can.

That would be a real boost.

These guys are a bit like a cheap car you see listed on Gumtree.

If they were any good, they wouldn't be up for sale.

Isaako’s form has dropped dramatically from last year, as has his goal kicking! However the whole Brisbane team is out of form, something’s not right at Red Hill. We all know what Isaako can do.

Same with Edwards - I thought he was gonna be a boomer of a player, but his form has crashed this season, much like his team.

In form, all 4 are better than anyone we currently have in our backline. We’d be mad not to have a crack at getting at least one or two of them if the reports about them being on the outer are true.

I heard Andrew McCullough, Darius Boyd may be taped on the shoulder.

He can go to souths to reunite with Wayne again, and we will take Roberts

it is very rare for a broncos player to come to the tigers.
scott prince probably the only one in history.

And that was via the Cowboys wasn't it?

Technically Lote's last NRL side was Brisbane and Glen Air came from the London Broncos

Scott and Aitken are better than our current centres.

Would allow us to put Jennings on one wing and look at Marsters as a back rower or utility. MCK or McQueen could then be shown the exit.

The best recruitment is to identify talent and development. The state cups are littered with players in their mid to late twenties who were destined to be the next big things.

I would be keeping an eye on Sailor and Marsters from st George, but we are somewhat hampered by long term big money contracts to players that it is probably best to move on.

See Mbye, Packer, Reynolds, Matulino, McQueen

Disagree. Plenty of good guys can come frome from reserve grade. Just different situations happen at different times. The fact is they are a step up and at the right price, they would all improve our roster. Our backline is by far and away the worst in the nrl....even the dogs ran rings around us at campbelltown in the backs.

I think the key is to look for potential , and when I say potential, looking for things that you can work with (speed, agility etc, which none of our backs have to begin with), i would rather work with that than a safe player who can't get any better

@happy_tiger we might've been a chance while Bennett was up in Brisbane as we would've dangled the carrot for him to come to Sydney, but now it just doesn't seem likely. he'll be off to South.

I know we are no chance of getting him ...but he is definitely on the outer at Brisbane

And he won't be the only one .....

I heard Andrew McCullough, Darius Boyd may be taped on the shoulder.

I had to laugh when the Broncos kept persisting with their spine and kept losing then they go and let Nikorima go and drop the Jet and Isaako when their biggest problem is Boyd, second biggest is probably their 9.
They both just offer no threat at all.

Kind of like our 9 and 1

Dylan Edwards has enormous upside, just needs a dash of confidence that someone like Madge would be able to impart on the young fella.

I don't know I'm super iffy on Dylan Edwards. He's been earmarked at Penrith for some time and has done nothing with his opportunities.

My gut tells me he won't make it and Tigers isn't the place for him to grow. Can't exactly tell you why, there are just some players I have that feeling towards as a "footballing package", they give me no confidence. Justin O'Neill was always the prototype gut reaction for me, I could never understand how that bloke got anywhere near representative football. Every time I looked at him it screamed "hopeless!" O'Neill, Jordan Kahu, Javid Bowen... Dylan Edwards has joined that list in the last 6 months.

@IWasBornATiger Isaako and Scott would be a good start. I wouldn't go hog wild after all four, we still need a hooker and another prop I reckon.

@Toowoomba_Tiger It's been reported in the Newcastle paper that he is just trying to change managers and his current manager is saying this to create turmoil. Speaking of Newcastle though, Ese'ese would be a good addition to our team. They have a lot of props and he's dropped down the pecking order a bit with Klemmer and Gavet's arrival (plus the Siafiti twins on the books).

Does anyone follow the Qld Cup comp, or whatever it's now called? Surely there's a fast winger that kicks conversions awaiting a chance. Probably signed with an NRL team already, but it wouldn't hurt to talk to them (on the quiet). Funnily enough, Isaako fits the bill and would be ideal, but I agree with those that have said that he is unlikely to be leaving the Broncos any time soon. Scott would be great in our centres. He lives on angry pills.

More to Scott release than meets the eye. Melbourne might be trying to sell a Lodge like lemon.
