About 3 hit ups where from a short ball from marshall and a couple of ineffectual runs sideways. Potter has to get this fella closer to the action and running hard or he can go play reserves.

There should be a clause in player's like Blair's contract if your not putting in Stat wise , then your pay will be deducted accordingly and sent to the Charity of his choice .
This guy does not give a toss on the Jersey he is representing.

There should be a clause in the coach contract that he can drop players even if they are bigger than him.

The worst thing is Potter sticks up for him and doesn't even hint he might get dropped.

And replace him with who?? We are already carrying a team with no experience so I fail to see how dropping him for another 20 year old with no experience will get our team back on track.

The coach has to tow the line until we can get some players back. The best he can do is probably drop Blair to the bench.

The season is gone , the question is how do we avoid that spoon

Maybe getting the spoon would be the best thing for this club. Seeing as though winning the comp in 2005 was the worst thing for the club?

I think he should be used at prop. We have some issues there and it gets him more involved. Even if its 50 minutes, quality over quantity.

I think Blair and BMM should both be used at prop. They both aren't cutting it out wide and getting them up the middle might help.

The thing you people forget is Melbourne made a very ordinary player like Blair look great and WT are not Melbourne.

Just ridiculous.

I thought he was showing signs of improvement the first few weeks this year when he was at lock. I'll give him one more go there this week to pull his finger out after the spray from Tallis.

Sitaleki Akaoula. Young and inexperienced, but hits the line hard in attack, has a good offload and not afraid to put a big hit on in defence. Oh yes, and he has a go. Would he be worse than Blair? On current form I don't think so to be honest.

What the…
According to this article
http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/league-news/sky-the-limit-as-salary-cap-hits-seventh-heaven-20130513-2ji1f.html

the new collective player agreement have been changed thus:
"Clubs will no longer be able to terminate the contract of a player who is ‘‘not playing the game or training conscientiously and to the best of his ability and skill’’."

Too late now but if we have been able to sack people for not playing to the best of their ability or skill then how in whatever's name is blair still employed???

i agree with both of u.

8\. bmm
10\. blair
11\. anasta
12\. fulton
13\. woods

i mean, theres alot more esperience there than we seem to play at the moment.

in another thread i said woods to stay prop, but maybe this option is better?

fulton and anasta are both ball players, and can hit the ball at speed. i've just convinced myself.

8 hit ups for an edge back rower is not that low

I don't care what you call him, he is a forward, a leader(supposed to be) seasoned player, should be leading the way, not hanging out with benji in no mans land. Drop him, give him a dose of reality in reserve grade.

tonights game

watmough 15 runs for 110m and 32 tackles
horo 17 runs for 139m and 17 tackles

aubusson 9 runs for 71m and 28 tackles
sbw 12runs for 116m and 20 tackles

Blair agains tthe sharks:
9 runs for70m and 31 tackles

so he was on par with aubusson (who i rate).

i think because we need more go forward we are judging him compared to when he played front row at the storm.

prop is where we need him.

Simple solution ,his best position is the 13 jersey ,make him play tight and he plays pretty well

Wasn't Blairs fault he was moved
