A game in the life of A Blair

He is here because the money offered was tempting enough. He didn't determine how much he would be offered, someone at WT did. Seems like we paid way overs. Poor judgement, it seems. As for his best position, if it's in the top squad, it should be prop. Just tackle his arse off and make a few more metres than he usually does. Forget him as an attacking wide/edge runner.

Simple solution ,his best position is the 13 jersey ,make him play tight and he plays pretty well

Wasn't Blairs fault he was moved

I agree he plays his best footy in the middle.

and Shoosh, you may not care what I call him, but players have roles to play, and edge back rowers are supposed to "hang out with Benji"

The traditional hit ups these days are taken by your back 3 and middle 3 (props and lock usually), edge back rowers end up with 8-12 hit ups generally.

Annoys me that Woods busts his arse off, taking gritty hitups while Blair seems to go missing needs to show his experience instead of standing out wide having a tea party. Also good for a penalty or 2 a game needs to be benched or dropped.

I sort of think he isn't an edge backrower.

That is where he is playing now and not getting high stats which the forum expect. He plays better tighter at lock or prop.

His interview on the wests tigers website is a bit embarrassing. Seems like he is trying to say the things we all want to hear, but there is little conviction in his body language.
