A nice dilemma brewing

Current squad going well and the following players returning. MIck Potter would have only dreamt about this last yr.

Sironen
Halatau
Sue
Tedesco
Moltzen

This is a few weeks away and we are looking at further injuries today but its an amazing Situation we are in 12 months on from the hole we faced last yr.

Add this to players like

Patterson, korobete, lulia and BMM and who knows.

Personally moltzen should not see FG again.

Moltzen can stay as far away from this team as possible. And when he gets there he can get on a plane and get even further away. I sometimes forget he's even still contracted to the club.

It's funny how the new coach and CEO could see all the deadwood the fans have been calling out for years.

Benji - gone
Ayshford - gone
Tuqiri - gone
Iosefa - gone
Utai - gone

If I was Moltzen I'd be feeling very nervous.

Rowe can catch bombs, have you seen moltzen ? Or Rowe supports props in case of offloads ?

At this stage I think I'd have Moltz in front of Rowe. It would be interesting to see how Moltz went behind a top class pack.

Rowe has only played 2 games though, hopefully he can find a little more over the next few weeks.

I sh*t myself every time a bomb goes towards Rowe hahaa, maybe I will get used to him.

Rowe is fine, as said above at least he has a go under the high ball. Parra's plan was to clearly target him, but once he took a couple high balls they changed tact.

I dont agree. He has to learn to jump abd contest bombs if he wants to stay in first grade.

He had one contested bomb today, didnt jump and was lucky Sandow dropped it.

Well its still more than Moltzen's ever done. Mr let the ball bounce. Which is who i was comparing Rowe to.

Maybe they joined the forum for retention advise!! :astonished:

Moltzen = Gone 😛ray:

Moltzen will improve under a good strong pack. He will be a good standby for Brooksie, besides he is a West Tiger man. I wouldn't be getting rid of any players in a hurry unless they wish to go. It is easier to play behind a go forward pack.

Whats that mean?

I believe Potter understands that Anasta is not producing “the numbers” we expect from a 6 when he plays. But he also is wide enough to understand right now his value to the team is being there as an old head for Brooks…Potter knows Austin is a much better 5/8 than Austin in terms of energy and passing etc...Potter even hinted that he will have a selection dilemma with Austin when Robbie returns....this suggests Anasta is safe at 6 until Robbie returns.

At full strength

1\. Tedesco
2\. Nofoaluma
3\. Simona
4\. Lawrence
5\. Richards
6\. Austin
7\. Brooks
8\. Woods
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Fulton
12\. Thompson
13\. Blair

Interchange:
14\. Taupau
15\. Seumanufagai/Sue
16\. Gavet
17\. Akauola

If we sign Inu I would have him there ahead of Lawrence.

Austin to come off the bech to play hooker whilst Farah is injured.

Once Farah is back Austin to 5/8 and Anasta to State Cup or retire
