A Positive

Round 24\. V dogs
Round 20 v cowboys we lost but with many injuries In north qld
Round 14 v storm we won
Round 12 v cowboys we won
Round 5 v souths lost in the last minute
Round 2 v manly we lost by 4 With no Galloway

Will that do as games we did well against top 4 sides in fact our problem is not against top 4 sides it's against poorer sides

boon boon, you have been coming in here all year quoting these stupid stats defending the indefensible.

He did lay a lot of tries on - guess what? thats his bloody job! how did he go in most other KPI's?

He did not lead the team… Only once did he own a game (Canberra)
He provided no structure
He never stood up in pressure situations when the game was there to be won
His kicking was aweful...hail mary's from 40 meters out is a joke.
His defence was attrocious
His passing was largely ineffective
He refused to run the ball
He displayed a distinct lack of confidence.

Make no mistake, this was his worst year in Tigers colours.

Round 14 FFS They were a bottom three side without Slater ,Cronk and Smith

They were ok performances

If you measure good , they have to be good by Benji own standards

Face it Boonboon Marshall best days are over 12 months gone

U people are idiots and that's all their is to say. Benji Marshall has played most of the season in an unfamiliar position, has had 9 different half combinations and has been missing his hooker and the other key tigers player for half the season including the last few weeks and has had the first choice fullback out of the team for 25.8 of 26 rounds this year. Despite all of that he has lead the competitiion in both linebreak assists and try assists as well as 5 tries. We have had a lot of players who have been the reason we haven't made the top 4 including Robbie Farah, Adam Blair but it defiantly isn't benji Marshall

Wake up to yourself Boonboon. Stop watching Ch9\. Marshall is useless and overrated. I've been saying it since 2007\. I'm glad I'm not a lone wolf in this department anymore.

Boonboon you have no clue. Even playing out of position which he isn't and even with different half combos that is no excuse for throwing crap passes having a crap kicking game and not running the ball. I'll excuse his poor defence cos that's not what he is there to do. For a guy on 500k what does he really offer? Let's compare him to the other 500k players shall we? He has 0 and tonight he needed to stand up and he caned us. 3 errors that DIRECTLY led to tries and then went hiding.

He ran for 57 metres which as a Halfback really isn't that bad, you can't demand he control a game like Cronk did tonight and then in the same breath demand he run the ball at every given opportunity. Benji certainly did not have his best game tonight but it wasn't his worst. Theres not much you can do when you have a winger playing centre, another centre whose been playing shit all season and is honestly just another backrower Ashyford runs the worst lines of any centre in the competition. You then have our only good centre playing 5/8 and a forward pack which apart from Blair and Woods and a little bit Galloway was dominated all night. Considering the cirumstances which were part injury part Sheens there was not alot Benji could do, or our only other playmaker Moltzen could do.

Its been a shithouse season for a number of reasons but lets not point the finger at Benji to quickly and start making claims like hes not up to first grade or something because the blokes won us a hell of alot of games by himself over the years

20 of those metres were probably when he score the try…

Marshall was terrible tonight. Didn't run directly enough, passing game was awful, spent most of the night running sideways or passing it to the trainers. I accept he didn't have much support in terms of playmaking but apart from the try he scored he created stuff all tonight. Don't care if he plays 1,3,6,7 or whatever - you have to make the defence make some tough decisions. He really didn't put them out of their comfort zone all night.

Okay in terms of positives.

Koro was again excellent and continues to improve. His speed in running down the Melb winger was scary!
BMM looked pretty good tonight but he's done this before - looked great at the end of the season. Needs to get more consistent.
Blair had his best game and was looking to get more involved.
Woods and KG are a fantastic prop combo but need more help. Bell was anonymous when he got on.
Lawrence will hopefully be fully fit next year.

Firstly I apologies for the idiots comment few too many beers under my belt at the time . However I do think the reviews on Marshall on here are just wrong that is my opinion and I'm not alone. Respect your right to disagree as that's what a forum is about.

summer is around the corner

I usually hate summer - no football. This year, however, I'm looking forward to it after this season. I couldn't take another week of the pathetic crap the team dished up. Unlike all the know-alls and finger-pointers on here, I don't pretend to know what the problem is but something needs to change and change quick, otherwise next year will be more of the same.

Boon Boon i agree with you Marshall wasnt the only player last night who had a bad game but atleast he tried, whoever said he is crap though should watch the games a bit closer.

9 different half combinations and you still can't see a where the problem is
