A pretty accurate summation

Either way its a pretty accurate look at wests tigers. As fans we will try to pick apart its accuracy but looking at it with non black, white and orange glasses or pretty accurate. Here's hoping we have some players that step up.

Best 17 doesn't include Moltzen… :roll

it should…

I assume you are joking?

no. he is a good player.
put thurston at hooker and see how he goes.

What a load of rubbish. He's not being played out of position. He doesn't have a best position.

Cutting up oranges for an under 12's feeder team maybe…. as long as he didn't have to catch them.

Guess he could get the winger to do it if he got in trouble.

He did top score at the tigers last season…12 tries to beau's 9\. Maybe that's why he keeps getting played in the 17? I don't think he should be fullback, like a lot of people. Centre or wing in my opinion, if he can touch up his defense. Wing would be good actually, very similar to FB and not as demanding defensively. If he can't handle that either, then nsw cup for him.

Defence isn't his big issue mate, it's the fact he carries his nuts in his lunchbox. Good fullbacks bring the ball back with venom, chime into the backline and are an integral part of today's game. He's got talent no doubt, but If you watch Tedesco bring the ball back, follow the play in support, and play like a second five-eighth in the backline you just know he's got it. Moltzen goes missing too often. Yeah, he got shuffled around last year, but so did everyone. If anything Moltzen is a running five-eighth, but we have one of those.

He has good speed, but he's not a winger. Would rather see Nofoaluma or Big T given a shot on the wing before Moltz but that is a matter of opinion. For now Utai is the one to beat for the spot.

what is his position?

6 or 7…
i could handle him in the centres if we have to.. but i still dont like the idea of that...
he has the best long distance kicking game in our club yet we continue to fail to utilise it.

Mmmm …. but don't wingers get targeted by the kickers on the fifth tackle with high balls? Maybe he has "touched up catching high balls" along with his defense over the summer.

Yeah they do, and moltzen isn't atrocious under the high ball, he won't be dropping the ball once a game. twice a season maybe.

Didn't he drop 2 in one half last season??

We're onto page 3 on this thread on an article that says…" "TALK of player unrest"....then suddenly "THE unrest didn't end there". So we've gone from rumour (talk) to fact (the unrest) and nobody questions the validity of it? Maybe there wasn't ANY unrest. Maybe it was just time to move a few guys on, including the coach! FFS.....!!!!!!

Why we wont win it- forwards.
Sorry - dont buy into that.

Go back to 2005 - So many people were critical of the size of the Wests Tigers forwards. It's not the size but the heart that matters.

With new rules and the focus on the play the ball, will we see a repeat of 2005? Here's hoping!

for crying out loud GNR we are more than capable forwards.
Sounds like a line out of a GNR song.
Anyway - no way - maybe the game changes but you a need a strong heart to win.
Look at the Bulldogs forwards & look at the Melbourne forwards. Do i have to remind you who prevailed.

Melbourne win comps with underrated forwards. Good post
