...a word on Beau

Beau is in good form! Hopefully he keeps it up for the rest of the season!

Only thing he lacks now is pace. Positioning, catching bombs, taking back the ball, making metres out of dummy half, good defence, heart.. he has everything right now.

Glad to see him prove me wrong . Have been a harsh critic of his . However still has a few errors in him - wish him well for the playoffs

Yes Beau is playing very well at the moment and i consider him a solid 1st grade winger but to say he is in the top 6 in the NRL???
This bias on this board is hilarious to read sometimes. Do you guys watch any other games??
I rate Beau and am happy to keep him but off the top of my head other wingers running around in the NRL that would push him out of the top 6 -
Manu Vatuvei
Akuila Uate
Brett Morris
Nathan Merritt
Darius Boyd/Jason Nightingale
Jharal Yow Yeh
Michael Gordon
Luke Burt
Blake Ferguson
William Hopoate
Tony Williams

Although I agree with your sentiments, I cant let Tony Williams go thru to the keeper, is a garbarge winger, but I rate him as a decent wide running backrower..
David WIlliams on the other hand is a very good winger.

Hey Ed I said currently…I stand by that.

He has a better all round game at the moment than Williams, Fergusson, Burt, Morris, and Vatuvei....and Merrit is playing fullback.

That leaves him in the top 6....

I'd also throw in that he kept the beast in check very well when we played the warriors

Its all about what fits the unit and Beau is doing that very well at the moment

I think Beau has worked on the more subtle aspects of his game this year such as positioning, timing and poise.

When he jumps for bombs its a very structured, procedural attempt at grabbing it, and it works most times - his positional work in defense is much better, and his sustained speed is extremely underrated.

I dont want to say anything bad about Beua because im loving his football atm but if he is top 6 and you take the Queenslanders/Kiwis out of that very rough list above then it leaves Uate, Hopoate and Beua fighting it out for a NSW Origin spot…..
