He thought he was bigger than the club. To this day, I still don’t understand how the club allowed to him go on Fox Sports and do a pre-recorded interview, throwing them under the bus. The only redeeming factor is I think because he’s a simpleton, it would not have been hard for people close to him to get in his ear and manipulate him to do anything they wanted. Funny thing, he said he wanted to go to a winning club, yet the moment he signed with the Dogs, they lost their next 7 or 8. You could tell he was regretting his decision before he even left, let alone nearly 10 years later. Cleary shut the door on any possibility of a backflip though. Fitting he retired as a reserve grader.
