Aaron Woods - Signs with Bulldogs 2018 - Sharks 2018 [Official]..

Dogs must be picking up some freight…luckily..

Sharks have Bukuya replacing Lewis and Prior replacing Gallen next year. Woods slots in as a starting prop with Fifita. Sharks fans will be blowing up deluxe on Beer Hill.

I'm guessing we showed no interest if the Sharks are actually signing him? Cause I'm sure he would rather be back here if we had opened the door.

Although our main emphasis should be securing a damaging second rower, I still think we need another prop. Tim Grant is going, Felise is out of favour, Sue is a passenger most weeks, so all we really have is Packer, Maulino and Twal. If any of them go down for a long period we're weak as up front, as was evidenced when Packer was out for over a month recently. It's a bit disappointing seeing Woods go to a Sharks outfit that is already stacked up front when we really could use another prop rotation, especially one that plays big minutes.

I have a mate who is close to the Sharks and has suggested it's a done deal and will be announced tomorrow. Bulldogs (of course) to be paying part of his contract.
Not that it really matters but he described the information as 'straight from the horses mouth'.

It's a flipping joke that the Sharks (who are becoming the new Roosters with no salary cap) .. how in hell can they afford Gallen, Fifita, Moylan, Dugan, Lewis Holmes, Graham Townsend .. there's eight players close to or over million a season and they paid double for Ava of what we were paying him (must have been only $2 bucks apparently) .. and now they are after Woods for this season which means they get him within a week or two .. wait there's more .. and they are still after Barba, but wait there's still more, they say they still have money in the bank .. so when did Uncle Nick go out and buy the Sharks .. ??

I am with you on this one as well….. You have just rattled off 8 rep players in the one team yet we struggle to have any..
I still believe TPA should NOT be apart of the salary cap and that all players should be played through the NRL... Just makes my blood boil..

I will ask you this question then - With the Tigers turnaround and everything stable why carnt we attract someone to pay high TP payments so we can have 10 rep players??

It just sounds too suss to me and where there is smoke there is fire

Harry use to give the Tiger's TPA's but at the moment the most important thing to me for the Tiger's is to get a fair rub of the green with the refs its not funny anymore the way they favor some clubs i was told before but find it hard to belive what i was told …..

I was told that some refs are on the take i said to that person that's B\S i dont believe you but was told not to give the match to one side but just the 50/50 calls sometimes i think its B\S and sometimes i think maybe there is some true in it dont know for shaw

I agree with you… I don't watch our games live now as i get so frustrated with the calls against us.

Gus Gould made these comments about Woods on the weekend…

“I think he is potentially a very good forward. However, he needs to learn what actually makes a good forward and what makes a valuable team member”.

Obviously not an admirer

Enjoying Gus back on twitter, you either like him or don't but you can tell he cares about the game.

It’s true.
Look at the broncos this year.
The game against us and the bulldogs they should have lost, but both times not even 50/50 calls more like 90/10 calls went there way.
It’s insulting to the fan on The Hill who pays his money to be have a game “stolen” away by a man with a whistle.
Its happened in many other sports over the years, would be naive to think it wouldn’t happen in our game.

Thanks for the non-specific advice Gus. I actually can't figure out what Gus means - that Woods is both not a good forward and not a valuable team member? You think a little constructive advice wouldn't go astray here.

He was tweeting when he was calling the game. Possibly fake???
